Australian Wholesale Oils

Just received my very first order from AWO yesterday 08/06/26 and I am very disappointed with what I received. I spent $250.00 which was required in order to get free shipping. I purchased (among other things) Coffee oil which was for my housemate. He opened it immediately but there was no Coffee aroma which didn't seem right. When he tried to shake out some oil, nothing came out so he shook it really vigorously and still no oil came out. Then we saw what looked like a 1cm long piece of 'stick' poking out the hole which was blocking it, he pulled it out and it was a dried up plug of something. He again shook the bottle and still no oil came out. There was no oil in the bottle and that's why there was no Coffee aroma. He then removed the plastic dropper and shook the bottle really hard and a solid revolting chunk of filth came out followed by bits of putrid slime....it looked horrific.....truly vomit inducing to look at. The odour was like something dredged from a filthy river bed, rot and decay. I had bought the coffee oil as a gift for my housemate so he could enjoy the aroma of coffee whilst he worked from home late in the evenings. We are both totally astounded that this happened and I am very disappointed and will not buy anything else from AWO again because this was a horrible experience.

I've been shopping with AWO a few years and they've pretty much become my go-to retailer for essential oils and natural products. I came across them when I discovered I could buy lavender oil which I use in wardrobes/drawers in bulk. 1 litre has lasted me for years even with refreshing satchels monthly and has saved me a small fortune compared to buying small bottles in shops. They have a wealth of helpful information and guidance on their website and a very impressive range. Their despatch is fast, same day, even when order is placed in the afternoon. Everything arrives well packaged to withstand the postal system.

I've just had a crack at making my own nail cream using jojoba butter and essential oils. Couldn't be happier with it.

I bought one of their oil diffusers recently while ordering other items and smarted a little at the price compared to oil diffusers widely available at cheaper prices. But having tried it, I'm very happy. I have never had an oil diffuser work as efficiently as this. There's just something about it that's better.

I purchased a 1kg tub of Olivem 1000, for $88, the second one I got from them. It looked different and was packaged differently. When I used it, it didn't emulsify my creams. I tried a few different things, it was definitely a faulty product. I emailed them for help, and they said there's nothing they can do. Actually they could have replaced the product or given me a credit. They weren't even interested in getting a sample of the product back to test it. Absolutely pathetic customer service, couldn't care less that I'm out $88 and stuck with their useless product. It's bizarre that would treat a customer so badly. I've spent thousands on ingredients since this happened that I would have spent with them. I've warned hundreds of people not to deal with them and the students I teach are all warned not to buy from them. Are they really doing so well that they can afford to behave like this?
