1 John s  · Products are incredibly oily, doesn’t absorb in, literally slips off my cheeks the moment it’s warm. Is causing my forehead to flake
5 carly shine  · Awesome company. Awesome product. My clients and I looooove it!
1 Wanda  · Disappointing – I wanted to love this - but it feels yuck and thick on, looks oily and greasy and made me break out every time I used it.
2 Bethany L.  · Dried my skin out – Dried my skin out but I love the way it provided foundation coverage. Such a shame I would have loved to keep using but too allergic.
1 mfis1  · If you want to get burnt, use this stuff – Hell no! Family all got burnt to a crisp thanks to this product. It's a scam, stay away.
1 Mel  · Extremely oily – It is the most oily product I've ever put on my skin. It feels gross and looks terrible.

Love the lip and cheek tint — bought all the colours except one! With the extra SPF protection, in addition to my zinc face cream, it gives me extra reassurance that my skin is being protected. As someone who doesn’t use makeup often and always having to throw out a lot of unused makeup past its expiry date, I’m grateful to have discovered the convenience of the all-in-one avocado zinc for lips, cheeks, and eyes!

After a chat with a supplier in Perth, I purchased the tinted moisturiser and coral cheek. I am mid 50s and my skin is now very dry. This product is perfect. Small amount. Great colour match. Wear all day. Sensitive skin but no irritation. Coral was a bold choice but makes blue eyes pop! Daughter a chemical engineer so very focussed in my family on clean products. I would highly recommend to ladies struggling with menopause skin as I have been.

The tinted moisturiser is very thick to apply. I don’t usually have sensitive skin, but this made my skin extremely dry and irritated. Would not purchase again.

Would not buy again – I really wanted to like this product as it has natural ingredients and locally made. I bought the original formulation at the end of 2019. It was sticky, oily and left a very obvious white cast on my medium/olive skin and I wouldn’t ever use it on my face. I took it with me to Broome to use as a body sunscreen - after 9 months storage in a dark… Read more

cupboard, the formulation has separated (see attached video) and I ended up getting sunburned within an hour instead. The company did replace that tube with their new formulation, but it was equally oily and still left bad white cast so I gave it away. Their “solution” for mattifying the product is to add powder over the top.

I've tried the bundle of moisturizer, sunscreen and body sunscreen. They all dries up my skin pretty badly. I was told the sunscreen is suitable for baby, but it dries up my baby's skin as well. Reached out to customer service. Never reply. Not recommended.

This review only applies to the lip and cheek tint - I have not tried the other products. I purchased the nude and berry colours and really like them both. There are very, very few tinted SPF lip balm products on the market which have 100% natural ingredients and are free from chemical sunscreens. I was pleasantly surprised that this applies… Read more

easily, and blends well, is not gritty like some zinc based sunscreens and lasts a long time. You also get a lot of product in the tube. The nude is slightly more peach toned than expected (on my very pale bluish tinged lips!). The berry is a great colour for me as someone with fair/light skin with cool/pink undertones, it is a neutral mauve-pink on me. The downsides are that it can feel a bit drying on the lips after a while and the colours are quite opaque, ends up looking more like a matte lipstick than a balm when dry. However I have found the same with all zinc based sunscreen lip balms, I guess it’s difficult to formulate something with a high percentage of physical sunscreen! I have ordered another one for my mum, and I would but this again.

Caused an allergic reaction I have never seen on my skin before – I would not recommend at all. I have given the company a chance to reply to my email and dm on Instagram with zero response from them. Even after doing a patch test, their sunscreen has caused an allergic reaction in me not right away, but days after using it daily. It also dried patches of my chest out to cause them to be almost Eczema like and I… Read more

have never had that in my life. I don’t expect I will get a refund but wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing as I would not have bothered. I can see why they have a rating of 1.8 stars. 28/1 - after emailing the company saying my next step was lodging a consumer complaint, I did hear back and was told I would have cover return postage at my own cost to get a refund. Honestly this is appalling customer service.

Cannot recommend! – Thick, oily and caused a red painful reaction which lasted for nearly a week. Customer service was poor - "sorry our products weren't for you". No refund offered as product has been opened.

Great tinted protection – I love the product. I've never been burnt or suffered any adverse reactions to using the tinted sunscreen. I wear it frequently in summer and a few days a week in winter.

Surprisingly plesently surprised – I purchased this after being a little bit gullible I don't use social media that often, however 1 day I jumped on and saw a product review clip( a gorgeous lady who was travelling aus reviewing the avacado zinkmost likely a huge following and she was raving about this avacado zink) i fell trap ,i dont wear make up 95% of the yr, but I'm off to… Read more

Bali soon and thought I'm gonna get this...I purchased straight away did no research other than checking reviews on the purchase site....only after did I bother to google reviews...and let me tell you there wasnt much nice to say about the product...major regret was setting in at this stage, well its been 6 days and my parcel has shown up straight away i applied product i gotta tell you thou... I LOVE IT! I even washed face with water towel blotted and it was still perfect. Only thing I would say is the tube is definitely only half full.. unsure why the didn't go with a smaller tube to hold product but over all i really like it..I suffer from hyperpigmentation I purchased the medium to dark and also grabbed the nude stick. Thanks

Onto my 2nd bottle – When my skin therapist recommended this to me, she did say that not everyone loves the product because it's a bit thick to apply. However, I love that it provides just enough coverage to even out my skin and its blemishes without the need for any foundation. I just wear this and some blush, and I'm out the door. And it's provides skin protection, what a bonus. Also works well on eczema and dry patches.

I have used this sunscreen since 2023 and only now have I connected the dots that it doesn’t protect and causes irritation. I thought I was getting a “sun allergy” but now I’ve investigated and asked my skin therapist, it seems this product causes allergies in many people and my husband and I have gotten sunburnt pretty bad last few times overseas… Read more

using it. It’s also extremely greasy. I stuck with it because of the clean ingredients although I won’t be using it again. I had a poor interaction with the company when I first bought it as well, didn’t honour their free shipping as advertised on the website when I purchased, instead was thanked for bringing it to their attention that it was still being advertised but no longer applied?

I had an allergic reaction - face red and burning. I have a latex allergy and have now read that i could also be allergic to avocado. Have eaten in small quantities in the past but not really keen. Seems to be a topical reaction.

Very oily and very disappointed! Was looking for a non nano mineral sunscreen and brought their sunscreen and the tinted sunscreen as well. The directions on the tube say “Apply generously.” Well it’s incredibly greasy probably because the 2nd listed ingredient in Castor Oil. So it obviously has a lot of castor oil in it but avocado oil is listed… Read more

2nd last ingredient. Maybe a more appropriate trading name should be Castor Zinc. Do not buy unless you like a very shiny greasy face.

Med-Dark shade perfect for summer, highly moisturising, glides smoothly, hydrayes skin very well. Abit thicker cream but use tiny bit.

I wanted to love this but it fell so short of what I expected. Oily, feels awful on, and despite their marketing claims, left a white cast on me and everyone I tried it on. Extremely disappointing and not worth your money.

I reached out to the brand multiple times over the last couple of months and there was no response from them! I am a UGC creator and love working with unique local brands. There lack of response and leaving my messages on read is so unprofessional and I realised that their page has a severe lack of diversity! All the models and collabs this brand… Read more

I wouldn’t buy from this brand when they aren’t a inclusive at all. I can’t promote a brand that has no diversity. It’s disgusting

Poor customer service – Order placed 2-3 weeks ago and hasn’t arrived. No information available on shipping or the status of the order and no replies to emails sent or messages via Instagram.

Dry skin and legitimate review – My review has been removed from their instagram comments. Used this from tuesday this week and will stop using it. My skin is dry and tight. Hopefully doesn't take too long to bounce back. Fell for some good clean crafty marketing. 0 stars. Buyers beware. Can confirm i agree with the negative reviews on this page.

Oil slick – I have to agree with everyone. It's just too thick and greasy and leaves a sticky oily sheen from the get go. The saving grace is the blush stick but even that was weirdly too dry.

Caused major sunburn for whole family – Our whole family got sunburnt while usuing this sunscreen. Was disappointed as we were so glad to have found an Aussie made ans owned, natural sunscreen but unfortunately won't be able to keep using. I reapplied the sunscreen on another occasion to see if it was just a once off/coincidence but I got burnt a second time. It's as If the sunscreen… Read more

Wasted my money. Very very oily – Like so many others here I was so excited to receive my order. I ordered the face zinc, tinted moisturiser and brush. It took a while to come considering it’s within Australia. It finally came but it’s horribly thick and greasy. A few times I’ve had to wipe thick oil off my phone after talking on it and I look shiny and know it’s probably going… Read more

to clog my pores. I emailed the company but they wouldn’t do anything. They suggested using a tiny amount and using powder to set. I wouldn’t have bought a product if I knew I’d need to do that. Disappointed I wasted the money

Okay but not enough coverage – I do like it but it hasnt served its intended reason for purchase as i wanted something with more coverage. Id almost say it has no coverage the little coverage it does have doesnt last long at all even when setting with a powder. I like it as a face sunscreen, it feels barley there but is pretty shiney and oily which might not be everyones favourite. Unsure if i’ll purchase again

THICK, GLUGGY AND YUCKY – I asked my pharmacy assistant for a "natural SPFc ream". She sold me this. IT IS HORRIBLE, so THICK & GLUGGY, goes on SHINY and makes me want to rub my face, but if I do that, the rest of me just becomes GLUGGY and sticky. Will not use the rest of the bottle and will NEVER purchase or recommend again.

Very Disappointed – I purchased this in a hurry at a health store called GO VITA so I didn’t do my online research beforehand which was a BIG MISTAKE. If I did check reviews online I would not have gotten this! Like all the other negative reviews I had the same experience it was TOO GREASY and OILY, even a small amount and I paid over $40 for it as well! That’s a lot… Read more

money for an unsatisfactory product! The greasy sunscreen also gave me breakouts guessing it was blocking my pores. Prior to use this sunscreen I was using MOOGOO SUNSCREEN half the price and although it was too thick and gave a white cast, it didn’t bother me too much before I use a cushion sponge to blend it into my skin and after applying foundation you won’t see the white cast. Also it never gave me breakouts and it was not greasy and shiny like the avocado zinc product. I was very disappointed at this purchased and I emailed their customer service but they was unable to refund me so I think it’s fair that I leave a truthful review of my experience.

Disappointing products – I bought the tinted face and regular body sunscreen, as well as the spf blush. Both of the sunscreens are oily and don’t absorb into the skin well. The oiliness makes my skin sticky and so hairs stick to the skin. The spf blush blends out too much so that you don’t see it unless you put a bunch of product and also like the sunscreen doesn’t set… Read more

Disappointing – I recently purchased a tinted moisturizer, brush, and lip & cheek tint from this company, spending a total of $85. Unfortunately, the product was greasy and ultimately very drying on my skin (I typically have very oily skin, so this was shocking). The bottle of tinted moisturizer isn't even full of product. regarding the quality of the product and their suggestion was to use less product or apply a setting powder, neither of which resolved the issue.

I'm disappointed as I was looking forward to this product, but it was unusable for me due to its greasy consistency. Given the price point and the company's response to my concerns, I cannot recommend. I hope the company considers improving the quality of their products and their customer service in the future.

Greasy and disappointing – Tried to love this having bought a tube for $40. With all the Instagram ads that had swayed me to purchase this product I was met with disappointment. I had purchased it in the medium dark, the product itself is very greasy even after buffing into the skin, the colouring was off. I ended up not reaching for the product as I needed to put a translucent powder after each use to not look so oily which in turn made me look patchy.

From Someone With Sun Allergy – First off, there's not enough product in the tube; It's literally a quarter or less full and I bought two bottles (as per pictures: Light and Light Medium). I have extremely dry & dehydrated skin. On top of that, I am allergic to the Sun, so I definitely know if a sunscreen works and if it doesn't. This tinted "sunscreen" is simply far too… Read more

greasy. It sits on my skin and instead of evening out my complexion and makes me look aged! Applying a powder on top actually makes it even worse. I do enjoy the hydrating feeling it gives my dehydrated skin, but I prefer that feeling be left for my night time routine - like a deep hydration mask (a mask is exactly how it looks and feels).

I wouldn't call this a sunscreen at all. In actual fact, it isn't! It's false advertising. It contains Zinc, but you would need a silly amount just to gain the benefits; It already looks (and feels) extremely greasy with just a small amount! As a sunscreen, it simply doesn't work. All the oils used in it, makes the Sun burn my skin even WORSE than not using it at all. There is a reason why people apply oils to tan and this product is definitely oily. The science just doesn't add up, if you know a thing or two about sunscreens, skincare etc.
