The Ayre c-27m12 has rusted out – I don't think that this AC is suitable for areas that are humid. Our Ayre rusted out leaving the fan floating around and creating a lot of noise.... It is basically a write off.
ayre magic – i have 2 air conditioners and both are terriffic and will buy another have had them for 2 years had not a problem would recomend 2 anyone good price so buy
Ayre Ducted Air Conditioner – Brand New Ayre Ducted unit will set you back $3500. Ayre Air conditioner units are manufactured in China so parts are hard to come by if it breaks down. Pro- Fairly cheap compared to more modern brand names of similar capacity. Cons- No longer trading in Australia so parts not as easy to get. Reading other reviews, they have had issues with the operation of their units but mine seems to be fine.
Ayre – I purchased a split system air con from them in 2010 and it has been running in my home constantly through out winter and summer and to date (2017) have not had any issues - the product was delivered promptly although we did have to pay for it to be installed our selves. So far cannot fault the product. Although the other reviews make me hesitate to purchase other units from them
Buyer Beware - An Australia-wide con! – Don't be tempted to purchase AYRE conditioners because they are cheap (in comparison to reputable brands). You only get what you pay for, a cheaply constructed generic Chinese product, which will be unlikely to last the length of the warranty and will then become a bigger headache as you try to get it serviced by a trader who will not return… Read more
phone calls, emails, faxes or letters and refuses to honour the warranty obligations. Save yourself the stress and purchase a reputable brand from a local dealer, who will install and maintain your air conditioning willingly!!
MY EXPERIENCE:
Having purchased two small split systems in July 2013 from their website (www.ayre.com.au), the first compressor failed in November 2013 and the second one by February 2014. Despite months of contacting the company and their promises of replacements being sent, nothing eventuated, so both units were removed in March 2014 and a Magistrates Court Order to refund me the costs and removal of the air conditioners was issued in July 2014. Not surprisingly, I have not been refunded the costs and I along with dozens of others have been left out-of-pocket by the con man, who owns and runs Ayre Conditioning P/L.
Through various social media channels I have made contact with many more people who have been stung by this con man, so apart from the reviews posted here, there are many, many more complaints published on the internet, that will confirm the fraud that is being perpetrated by this con man. SO BE WARNED!
That is exactly the same happens with me! – I ordered air conditioner unit at 4.12.2014 and until now do not have anything from them They are not responding to calls and promising to delivery next week and next week again the same. Very bad customer service! I will request refund and never will order from them anything any more.
Save your money - Dont buy! – Ordered product. Then they never returned any of my emails when I asked for delivery date. The phone number doesnt connect to anyone but just disconnects you after a few seconds. I doubt these people exist. I am now going to try faxing them. But Im going to see if I can get my money back. Complete rip off.
Awful customer service and installers are dreadful – I am getting seriously hacked off. 4 weeks again [name removed] from [name removed] air sales repaired my airconditioner under warrenty. My remote control went missing that day. then contacted you and you said that you would contact [name removed] and then send me out a replacement remote control - this has not happened in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!
What is going on?!?!?!?!? I have tried to phone you and the phone just rings out. I am not happy and i will be taking this futher if i do not receive a remote control immediately. Your customer service is a disgrace. You even suggested that the reason why my remote was taken was that i had not paid, which considering that your airconditioner broke down while it was still under warrenty is a joke!
Contact me asap to rectify this, or i will take it up with a consumer association.
