New purchase opinion so far – This unit has been reconditioned because it came with a broken firing pin. So unpackaged first view. The recoil spring is super tight, the hammer spring is solid, mag release spring is massive DA trigger is crisp, slide lock has no doubt about it and releases fine. The gun is not heavy in the hand i have had to learn to shoot left handed due to… Read more

military injury destroyed my left shoulder so getting used to the weight is primary. I have been building muscle memory using glocks and this feels lighter. So far first impressions Are good. I will blast a few magazines through nit and get back to you on accuracy and function.

Good gun in a good price – First time i see this pistol at the local gun shop in multan pakistan. Next day i purches it. Baikal mp446 is a symble of quality russian arms. I find it very trustable weapon. I think it is a small mp5 gun. Baikal viking mp446 9mm is ideal pistol. I trust on it and i love it. A good weapon make you most confident in any emergency situation. Just bought – Just bought this Russian-made beast. Very crude construction -- machining marks are in plain sight. Very tight slight spring. SA trigger is surprisingly OK, DA not so much. SA has some creep to it but it stops before it breaks so you can feel it before it breaks, which is good for some, bad for others. Mags are terrible! Spring there is so… Read more

tight that it took me two minutes to shove the first round in and even more to figure out how to push in the second. The mag spring is extremely tough! So tough that I took the mag apart and cut half of the spring off to bring it to acceptable level. My thumbs are still sore after the loading process.

It handles hot rounds well but will jam light hand reloads and lighter factory ammo.

Other than that, it shoots surprisingly well. Recoil with 9mm is very manageable and follow-up shouts and double taps are a breeze. SA trigger Crude construction, terrible mags, DA trigger, too tough slide spring.

MP 446. Its worth it! – Ive had this gun for an year now and its amazing, accurate and reliable. Value for money. Shot with glocks and others but it has fared well !! Love it, a keeper. Has less recoil, magazine spring softens with time but its just like a submachine gun clip. The one i have has 18 + 1 rounds. Handles well with good balance. Handling, less recoil, accuracy. Not conceal carry. Show reply
