NO customer service NOT value for money – Whilst this place is beautiful for a rustic boho feel, it severely lacks in hospitality / customer service and value for money. Communication was difficult leading up to the big day - the lady had completely lost interest as soon as the money had been paid. She was to distracted by new comers who hadn't paid yet. Included in the basic package was next to nothing other than the venue itself. The one thing requested was to have a bridal table for the entire bridal party. We we arrived at the reception there was a table for two - not ten as requested. As the maid of honor I could only find the husband who was unsure of the plan and had to go back and forth a few times to Michelle. Eventually they set up a bridal table with Michelle shaking her head the whole time with an uninviting expression.
We were then told that certain drinks and food had run out - although when I went to collect personal belongings the next morning there were cases of drinks and boxes of food left.
After all this my sister is now being charged extra for the bridal table and her bond is being withheld.
Poor communication reflecting poorly – Disappointment is an understatement. Having planned my daughters wedding with her for over a year we really thought we had found the perfect venue, unfortunatly this was not the case. The communication was difficult leading up to the day, long time between e mails being returned , questions not answered, requests forgotten. We went into a wedding which was the middle wedding of 3. One previously on the Friday. ours on the Saturday and one on the Sunday.We arrived to set up at 9am as we had been instructed (many a long night of previous planning on styling between me and my daughter). There was little to no communication on the day The wedding coordinator on many instances could not be located. We were told after the event on raising our concerns a staff member was sick on Saturday, however rather than cancel the 4 walk through the venue of prospective clients taking the time up of the wedding coordinator this time was taken away from our function. Leaving us to ask 2 guests to assist with the cleaning, having a bride get ready in a uncleaned chalet that stayed uncleaned for 3 hours resulting in the photographer having to clean up a bedroom before photos of the dress could be taken. Guest arrived to the ceremony area to ladders still out / set up mode still on. What was the worst was the lack of communication on the day, and even the day after no apologies to my daughter the bride which showed a real lack of respect. Sorry guys great setting completely ruined by lack of communication or respect for our special day and putting business before quality
