Barbie as the Island Princess

Good – A great barbie to add to your little girls collection. I found this alot more expensive than the other barbies but you are able to push the button on her chest and have her sing songs. My daughter has the barbie princess that is purple - but cant remember her name. SHe has had this for a couple of years and it still sings music when the button on her chest is pressed. These are great quality dresses that arent easily torn like some other barbie clothes and they come with a little pet animal and a brush to keep barbies hair pretty and combed. There is nothing my daughter dislikes about this doll. I on the other hand got really sick of hearing the same songs playing over and over again

Good – It actually isn't too bad to watch. I have to admit that I sat down to watch it under duress but overall, it wasn't a bad way to pass an hour or so. The graphics look pretty good, the songs do get into your head a litlte bit but overall I would recommend. The animation is good in this, the songs are cute and the colours are not all pink and purple like most of the barbie movies. The theme of the movie is quite nice as well. It's Barbie so I hate all of the 'extras'. Happy for the movie but then your daughter wants the doll and the monkey and the elephant from teh movie and the dress up outfit +++
