Dont deliver, dont follow up couriers please – Absolutely disgusting service from this business. I made an order on 13th November 2023 for two indian timber pots, to be deliverd to my home address in Qld, and its now 9 january 2024 and still not received or refunded. They reply when you email them, oh were waiting to hear from the couriers! So Ive lost over $200.00 and they just fob you off as they dont care if you actually receive your delivery or not.

Mould Covered products – Third time customer, bought 3 old wooden cous cous bowls for $400. Two were delivered covered in mould! They all absolutely stunk, we had to put them outside! I emailed them photos straight away, all I got back was rude, condensing response saying they don't see it as faulty it's part of the patina. Mould is fungas not patina. I had to fight all day long with back and forth emails for a refund! Not even a sorry for this, let's sort it out. It should have been handled better and owner ship was taken rather than calling a customer a liar with photo evidence. Also stating I was the first ever unhappy customer in 8 years, that's great but your products have mould in them that can cause health problem and destroy a house. They're now returned and back up on the website, covered in mould ready for someone else to purchase, you can even see the mould, bowl #13. Avoid! I can see why they have their reviews turned off Facebook
Fabulous boho bag – So happy with my purchase from Barefoot Gypsy. Even better than I thought. The leather is soft and beautifully crafted. Very pleased.
Beware Barefoot Gypsy will not refund – We purchased two new cushions costing $250 from Barefoot Gypsy. The cushions did not match our decor at all. They were a much stronger colour than depicted on the website pictures. This was not rash decision on our part because the selection had been recommended by our interior decorators. Despite still being packaged as received and us being prepared to return the cushions at our cost, Barefoot Gypsy has advised it will not refund our money.
The Barefoot Gypsy website terms and conditions warn they offer exchanges or credit. However this is of limited value because of the highly specialised offering from this store. Such a policy is highly unusual for an online store.
There is no problem with the quality of the product. It just did not match our decor.
This warning extends to individual buyers but especially to interior decorators. Beware before you purchase anything from Barefoot Gypsy. Read the terms and conditions very carefully.
