ALDI Bauhn ATV39HD-1018 (39")

Good tv – So i bought this tv as a normal tv and i don’t need many features, as long as it has a hdmi port so I can use my chromecast. I have been using for about a month now.
Purchased at ALDI for $199.
Great price, can't go wrong – My partner and I are pretty happy with this tv. It's a reasonable size and a good price. The only thing we've noticed is that the sound isn't amazing and doesn't always deal with louder sounds too well. However, for our first little home it works well and will eventually become the bedroom tv once we can afford a bigger tv. Will definitely continue to buy TVs from ALDI.

This is a very GOOD product! – This BAUHN TV from ALDI is a 39.5" Full High Definition LED LCD TV with a DVD Player, and it works well. The only drawback would be the sound quality could be a little better. Picture is clear, it is easy to operate and the DVD player works every time. No problems so far, and have been using it for quite some time now.

Bad speakers – The speakers sound distorted giving a very tinny sound and you tend to get a headache ... it`s hard to make out what the people are saying. It does have a good star rating for energy use ... it is not a smart television ... though for the price it would be good if not for the sound quality.

Sounds terrible. Image pixelation – I expected a lot more from ALDI than this piece of junk. The bauhn website doesn't give anything away about this TV and I can see why now.. because it's embarrassing. No CEC support for Chromecast, Xbox etc. It sounds like someone put a tin cans under the speakers. I can't remember when I heard a tv which this poor quality must have been in the 80s.
Turned on my Chromecast and put a TV box set on and the TV pixelation is massive.
This TV is totally unacceptable quality I would feel even embarrassed to sell this on gumtree as people would think it's faulty.
