Samsung saviour – Bought mine a few years ago, taken to bali a couple of times worked great took to USA and helped alot. Last trip to bali a friend tried to charge her iPhone with a cracked charger chord and shorted it out so it's useless now. She also shorted out a local replacement. Looking for a new one.

Travel Kit - Purchase – I bought this from my seven hills Aldi, went to thailand, singapore and next bali and malaysia. Had no issues with it in Thailand and singapore over 4 weeks. Fantastic purchase. Still running good and I used it in a Sydney hotel as well. Charges fast using the usb ports. Show details

Such a good idea I purchased two – The first one was great. Took it overseas and lasted about a year and a half. Then the USBs stopped working and that made me unpack the second one which failed, with the same problem, after half a day.

Only useful as a 2 prong powerboard!! – Usbs only charge one phone, if your lucky!! Usbs don't charge. Can't charge headphones, earphones, portable charger, led light - nothing! So all this is, is a crap 2 prong power board!! Show details

Piece of junk – As with all the other comments, was fine for a day and a half then the thing just made a popping sound and the USB ports stopped working. I could understand if it was overloaded but was only charging a phone... Very annoying being overseas without the appropriate USB charger.. Show details

Fabulous – Just been overseas to the UK and Portugal using the adapters in Homes Hotels Trains and Airport lounges and found the product worked really well I can highly recommend this product. Show details

USB FAILED – Same as the other reviews below. Took it overseas and the USB ports failed after a couple of days use. Model number is ATAK 0618 . Not sure when I bought it so I am contacting Aldi to see when it was sold and see if I can narrow it down to a month so I can find receipt.

Disappointing – Same problem that I now see is quite common. Took on trip to Malta. All USB ports failed after a few days of use. One star for available mains power using adaptor plug. Luckily could share someone’s USB chargers. Show details

USB charger discharges camera battery – Took the adapter on trip to Laos and Thailand. Worked fine for 2 weeks charging two cameras on USB. Then it stopped charging. It discharged one camera battery and made the second camera unusable. The first camera could be recharged with another charger, the second (expensive) camera did not recover. Show details

Failed after a couple of uses – Same issue as many others here. Worked fine once, but then had the USB ports pop on me after one use in Singapore. Very disappointing, as I had always believed ALDI to sell good quality products. I am sure it will be out of warranty as I don't travel that often. Bought two from different years. One good, one sucks – I bought my first one maybe two years ago, and using it daily ever since. FANTASTIC! I have recommended it to others and bought a new one for the missus. Noticed at first that the newer adapter was a different design. Hers has lasted about a month before usb ports popped. Good one model: ATAK014 bad one model: ATAK0618

Very handy – Haven’t had an issue and used it multiple times. Very handy and compact with little travel bag. There must’ve been a faulty batch going by other reviews but mine has been great.

Do not buy – This is the second one purchased...failed again.....will take back again for refund. Idea good.....but quality not good. Also purchased one for my son.....I’ll tell him to take it back also.

Usb failed after one day – Went to use it in Hong Kong and it failed after one day. Usb ports stopped charging. The power plugs were fine so it was just lucky we also brought chargers with us also.

The unit is a fantastic idea, pity it doesn’t stand up to it clams – Bought a unit approx two weeks ago and while needing it during it went pop and the USB ports refused to work any more at all. What a disappointment, I was counting on this for future travels.

electrical item from ALDI I’ve had fail the other was their multimeter which failed before first use.

Think I’ll be steering clear of electronic goods at ALDI from now on.

Pity the board is a good idea and very convenient when it works.

Do not buy the unit is faulty – Bought one from Aldi in July. Used it once in Perth and it worked ok. Used it again the next day and it popped when using USB chargeable sockets and smelt smoke. Took it back and got a full refund.

Failed usbs – Worked very well at the beginning of my overseas trip. However, all four usbs failed to charge after two weeks of use. The power sockets continued to work. Very disappointed, as I thought I had found the solution to my connections.

Handy Sized Power Adaptor – Brought from Aldi. Have used it quiet abit. If you plug a couple of USB in, it does take a bit longer to charge. The 240 Volt Australian sockets have no problem. Just means you need to take your apparatus plugs, which means less space to carry other things. All in all a great handy little adaptor for travelling overseas and home.

Terrible. Waste of money – I bought one 2 weeks ago for my wife's holiday to the UK. It worked for 3 days and then failed. She now has to go and purchase an adaptor in the UK to charge her 2 phones and laptop. Aldi should not sell such rubbish. I am very disappointed. Dave Pretorius on July 13, 2018

should not have failed). I ended up buying a replacement unit at the Sim Lim Square building in Singapore which specializes in all things electronic. The salespeople were not impressed with the quality of Bauhn. I recommend you steer clear of this Aldi product.
