Bega Peanut Butter Crunchy

It used to be made by Kraft, now it's Bega. Someone at Bega is taking shortcuts on the never oily never dry part, as the last 3 jars I've gone through are always oily before getting halfway through the jar. A 755g jar lasts me about two months. Show details
Good, but less than 10% Australian ingredients – I always grab this without hesitation because it's Bega, an Aussie owned company. Just happened read the label yesterday on my new jar and very disappointed to read the ingredients were less than 10% Australian. Why is it so hard to buy real Australian food. It is now added to the growing list of items that I must check the label carefully. … Read more
There must be a brand on the shelves that uses Aussie produce. It also means that I must read the labels of all Bega products instead of presuming it will be Australian. The low rating is because of low percentage of local ingredients.
Definitely not to my taste – Extremely surprised to open the simply nuts jar to find an oily liquid with some pieces of peanuts mixed in. You can pour this from the jar onto your toast (if you are game) as the mixture has the same texture throughout the jar. After many years of daily use sadly I will be looking elsewhere for my favorite toast topper. Show details
Delicious – Looks like liquid silk, really impressed with it. Id always purchased other brands but will stick with this now. Does appear a little oily when you first open it but does not taste oily. Show details
Disgusting product – It was nice to have a product which was free from gluten.. Love peanut butter but this was utterly disappointing and disgusting. Opened the jar full if oil floating on top. Show details
100% Aussie nuts! – I love this pb.I keep it in the fridge so it isn't too runny. You should push the fact that you use 100% Aussie peanuts; most other brands do not. Show details
Love it, it's Aussie – The lid comes off so easy, especially in my lunch bag. Not good nor pretty. I don't like it when the peanut butter goes through my whole lunch bag as it makes a big mess. Show details
Immaculate – Had a big spoonful of this delightful paste and it changed my whole life... nay my whole face. I was saving to get lip injections, but this gave my lips have the same effect I so desperately desired. It did make me feel sick though, hence the 4 star review.
Bega Peanut Soup – Their recipe has obviously changed making this now a thin, runny consistency. They have now affixed a label to the lid suggesting that you store the jar in the refrigerator to thicken it! No way am I going to pour cold peanut butter onto my warm toast. I have gone back to Mayvers Peanut Butter, a much better product. Show details
Absolutely awful peanut butter – Peanut butter runs off your toast and is tasteless and awful, an absolute waste of $5.00 Show details
Simply nuts peanut butter is very runny – Way way too runny. Was dripping everywhere. Thought it was terrible. Won’t be buying it again. No good for rice cakes or crackers. Yuck!!!! Show details
Different product from Bega 'Simply Nuts' – This product has an incorrect photo as Bega crunchy peanut butter in the yellow container not the glass one used for the higher priced per gram Bega 'Simply Nuts.' Product Review may want to change the photo. The crunchy peanut butter is fine and reasonably pleasing to my palate at an acceptable price, but not as good as 'Simply Nuts.' Show details
very nice – I love this peanut butter. Fantastic. Real crunchy and it is made in Australia. Show details

I thought i would try it, big mistake – It said it was only nuts and some salt, that is correct. Mine was extra oily, using a long knife i mixed it thoroughly thinking it would get less oily but no. It was like runny honey. Ok i thought lets try it...... First thought was bitter and it was like trying to slow an inedible sludge that stuck to everything. I didn't think peanut butter… Read more
could be so bad !
Pics peanut butter is very good, can get dry to bottom if you dont mix oil through.
Crunchy peanut butter – I haven't had peanut butter since I was a teen I saw the Bega peanut butter and thought I'd buy it. The taste is strong , its smooth, love the crunchy bits , it has that freshness taste to it but when you eat it its like elastic you have to gulp a bottle of water down to help the peanut butter go down . A little more work could make it the best on the shelf.
