Benadryl Chesty Forte

Made it worse – Made me cough so much I kept gagging. I already had a cough but this made it a thousand times worse. Had to sit up at night or chest filled with congestion. $16 down the drain.

Worst taste and negative effect! – This is the worst medicine I ever tasted, after taking it my cough become worst! I don't know why they are selling these. I really recommend not to buy it because it is a waste of money and your health.

Helps cough, amazing for sore throat! – I got this to help me get a good night sleep on the midst of a persistent cough. It certainly worked for that, but surprisingly, it is very soothing for the throat too! I quite like the taste, either - I know others hate it though.

Made coughing worse – I took the cough syrup and after an hour my coughing was so bad that for 9 hours straight I was coughing non stop without a minute break in between. Had garlic , chicken soup also tea honey ginger and lemon tea and Panadol and felt better after a day.

This product worked for me – First full nights rest in a week. A very sore throat was calmed within minutes. The nasty painful cough was suppressed. I'm very happy with the results. Time will tell if the long-term improvements are as pleasing as the short-term.

Made me cough until I couldn't breathe – Bought for a chest infection following influenza on recommendation of Dr. Unfortunately, although I understand it's meant to thin the phlegm and help to expell, it made me cough until I gagged and couldn't breathe. Had to stop use and go to something else.

Effective but tastes worse than you fear! – I had a pretty nasty chesty cough for a week and a bit. I finally relented and got some cough syrup for the first time in my adult life. out out of 10% black currents, 10% pineapple water and 80% toothpaste. I had to chug lemon juice to reduce the flavour to a tolerable about. I am almost impressed they managed to make it taste so horrible. Would buy again.

This cough syrup made my coughing worse, not better – I took 1 bottle for my cough and 3 days later i was more sick, my cough was so bad i couldn't sleep much and wasn't getting any relieve for my cold so i stopped taking Benadryl and with panadol and hot tea i started to get better. I will never buy any cough syrup again its a waste of money.

Very effective – Tastes awful, initially feels like it is burning your mouth but then warms and soothes the throat pretty well. Had pharyngitis and chest infection and tried three different brands at this time. I only purchased Benadryl chesty Forte as it was on special and found this works the best.

Effective Good product – Had a bad cough for three day and I had to buy cough syrup so checked few best syrup review and decided to buy benadryl and it quite effective just in one day. I had one last year for same price brand name trust is such a waste of time n money.

I don't believe in cough medicine! – Nothing against the Benadryl brand in particular, but I honestly don't think cough syrup does anything. I bought this for my kids, and they don't mind the taste, but the coughing doesn't subside with cough syrup. When you're paying upwards of $10 for a bottle of cough syrup, I wouldn't bother...I did read something recently about pineapple juice being more effective than cough syrup. I wouldn't buy it again.
