Positive, professional service - our broker, Steve was willing to the extra mile to get the job done – I recently sold my business through Benchmark Business Sales. Steve from Benchmark Brisbane gave us outanding service from the getgo. He kept us informed on a weekly basis, was totally transparent in all dealings with us. He conducted the entire process in a very professional (and compassionate I might add) manner. I was amazed at how much work a good business broker has to do to get the job done. In stark contrast to the other reviews here, I couldn't fault the company. I Would definately recommend. Five stars plus.

Beware of having Benchmark sell your business – Said & did all right things until I signed sales agreement. After that it was horrible. Refused 2even visit my business, would not bring anyone there. Were only interested in the listing fee which is the highest of all brokers. When I questioned their approach they just made excuses then cancelled the listing & kept the fee. When I pressed them further demanding a full refund they would only give back half. Was a huge waste of time. Signed with another broker & wow what a difference. I would certainly not recommend Benchmark to sell any business.

6 months exclusive and never contacted us – For 6 months they had our salon exclusive for sale and never did they contact us after we signed, never visited us to see what we look like. Would highly recommend that you don't have them to sell your business as they just waste time and don't achieve anything....just wasted 6 months.....

They ignore genuine enquiries – I emailed this company, asking about the "for sale" price of several hotels in South Australia. She replied and said I had to complete confidentiality agreements in order to get the details. I did this and sent them off to the given email. I heard nothing for several days and followed up with an email four (4) days later, asking if she had received the emails. NO reply, still. It is now a month later...clearly, those opportunities have passed. I just wonder how keen they are to sell hotels. So, to Ellouise at Benchmark Business, you did not reply to my emails and I will avoid listings with your company in the future.
