Seems like a lot of packaging and money for three rashes of ordinary bacon. Show details

Rancid bacon – At least third time I've come across rancid bacon that is well within date. I'm embarrassed to keep refunding it. More needs to be done than sell food poison.

Not impressed – Poor quality products. Green bacon. Lack of customer service and due care. Bacon found 6-8 packages complaint to store staff . We have had this issue but it's okay we will refund your money. Bull. Can't wait for a law suit selling food poison to someone that's colour blind and your staff miss it Show details

berg bacon quality drops – I have been using Berg bacon various cuts from Aldi for many years. Last purchase was short cut bacon delicately smoked. I changed to this because of the dropping quality of the meat, flavour and mostly excess water content of the full rashers. Sadly for me the same thing has happened to the short cut getting worse over time. Excess water,… Read more

rashers stick together in packet, lack of flavour unless cooked over open flame. When using frypan to cook it tends to stew when the water leaches out from the bacon. I believe it's added water not left over brine as in the curing process because it is not salty. If Aldi doesn't ensure its brands/ suppliers keep their quality up there is no point shopping there. Less expensive is not cost efficient when the product isn't worth buying and thrown out in disgust.

Tastes good but excess water – I purchased a packet of Berg short cut rindless bacon from Aldi. When I opened the packet water ran out. There was approximately 5% by weight of excess water added to the meat.
