I took my Isuzu Dmax to Bergmans service centre in Rockingham and have just to say it takes the cake for worst experience i have had with servicing. I was called to say my vehicle was ready for collection only to be told upon my arrival that the front tyres are illegal due to excessive wear from bump steer issue. I was handed keys payed the $670… Read more
or whatever it was for the service and left with an unroadworthy vehicle.
Its worth noting i had tyres checked on 30,000km service but at that stage was denied warranty as apparently did not meet the requirements for wear. I bought it back somewhere between 30,000km service and 45,000km service and was finally approved eligible for warranty but tyres were deemed fine. Then to go in for 45,000km service and my car that was bought brand new through them is now unroadworthy and basically told to have a nice day and to email Arielle for replacements as my car has previously been approved for bump steer issue.
Wrecking my plans for booked trip away as i could now not take my car i organised to go with 1 of the other guys. I organised to have my car bought back in on the Friday upon my return. Whilst on holiday i recieved phonecall multiple times asking for tyre size of my stock 2023 X Terrain tyres.
I actually was not sure and advised them . I got another phonecall again asking so i told them again what size. I told them again its stock tyres on stock rims of a 2023 X Terrain. Again they were not sure. I actually googled it and find my tyres later that day but apparently they could not do that.
Upon arrival on the friday tyres were not ordered and had to leave car there again. Later that morning i recieved a message saying power was out and car would now be required to stay over the weekend.
I spoke with Arielle who is one of the worst customer service people i have ever dealt with who stated i am one of the lucky ones even after advising i had to take Friday off work to bring the car back
Monday Morning they got the tyres in. Broke 1 of the TPMS while removing one of the tyres. They did organise a replacement and finally got to pick my car up on the Monday afternoon.
I recieved feedback from the manager upon lodging a complaint but appears they did not even check the phone conversation i time stamped for them for the agreed booking and the terrible customer service Arielle provided. Instead got a generic type of apology. Poor. Giving 1 star because can not give 0
Bergmans Auto Group Service – Had my Isuzu X-Terrain serviced with Bergmans auto Group last week. Was greeted very politely by the staff in the service department. Extremely professional and very knowledgeable with all my questions. Would highly recommend the service team at Bergmans Auto Group.
Bergmans and Service, classic antonyms – Purchased a Ssangyong Korando which was due for the first service. Service organized by Bergman's and scheduled for 9.00am on agreed date (very recent) On arrival at the service centre was advised that the actual service would not be undertaken for at least 1.5 hours possibly longer, maybe 2 hours. Question, what am I doing here at 9.00am, to wit… Read more
only an apology was forthcoming. With the distinct possibility of waiting for 3 hours plus, after being told the service would take 1.5 hours, I chose to speak with the BIG Service Manager, which was clearly a misnomer. That particular discussion was not only a fruitless task, but a waste of time, as nothing was resolved. Fortunately for Ssangyong, the Bergman Group have nothing to do with the production, quality or anything else related to their line of vehicles, which was the only saving grace for me out of this first service debacle. First hand advice, DO NOT CAST YOUR SHADOW UPON THE DOORWAY OF BERGMANS FOR ANY REASON, consider yourself told.
Bergmans Auto Group STAY AWAY – Absolutely would never recommend, sold an unroadworthy 2021 Dmax (55000km ) with in the first week had to take it back, with faulty rear brakes and drums then tried to charge me to have them replaced. Had to take them to Consumer protection to get them fixed under warranty. they replaced a belt pulley to fix a steering wheel noise took 3 months… Read more
to get the part had to get consumer protection again. wasn't even the problem just needing some Gease on the steering collum. And now the front rotors are warped and need replacing obviously no one did a safety check on the car before the sale.
DON'T GO TO THIS MOB – This mob did an appalling job on my Winnie Bago. They did not complete many of the repairs that were needed. They nonetheless charged me for them. When confronted on the matter they couldn't have cared less. They lied when saying they had undertaken repairs when they had not and they damaged the door chipping the paint off which will cost a $1,000. Save yourself a lot of misery by passing up on these guys.
Great after sales service and warranty follow up – We bought a 10 year old Ford in March for my daughter that developed some mechanical issues on a couple of occasions in the warranty period. The car was fixed both times without complaints or drama. We were given a decent loaner car both times. It always pays to go to a reputable dealer. It is when you have a problem that the quality of the… Read more
dealership's after sales service really stands out. Bergmans have been responsive, polite and helpful on all occasions. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Motor dealers that won't sell a car – Myself and my wife visited the site in Rockingham as we are wanting to upgrade our car. We are interested in the Isuzu MuX. We were approached by Alan a salesperson when we arrived and we said we just wanted to look around and did not need any help at the moment. we looked at 3 vehicles and then were approached by Alan again to inform us we could… Read more
test drive the vehicles if required. At this point asked Alan what was available and he pointed out several vehicles that were there. I asked what the cost was for a 2 wheel drive model which was new and Alan said was available for sale but he immediately asked what our trade in was. We do not intend to trade and said so to Alan. He then replied tht he would not sell the vehicle without a trade. I queried this and he replied that he does not own the company and it was company policy on new vehicles. So I appear to have found the only car dealership in the Perth that does not sell cars!!!!!! Cash is not acceptable to pay for a car, you must have a trade. What type of trade? no idea as this condition of sale was not on any signs or literature I could see or was given. I wonder if Isuzu Australia is aware of this requirement by one of its dealerships? Could not believe what I was hearing!!! I left the yard and called to speak to the sales manager but before I was put through I asked the receptionist if this was company policy and she said no. I was was put through to the sales manager and surprise surprise all I got was Alan who said he was the sales manager. At that stage I gave up.
Ssangyong service – I had my rather old but valued Rexton (2005) in for a noisy rear wheel bearing. It was all sorted out in a very responsive manner. Rob the new service manager has a good customer manner and was sympathetic to the issues I had. It was made clear me that the Service department has a new enthusiasm for their product and are looking forward to… Read more
supporting what looks to me like a great product going forward with the latest Musso and Rextons. I have three old school Rextons in the family with a total of almost 750000 Kms travelled. Repairs to date amount to one alternator pulley bearing across all three vehicles.
Regards David.
Rip OFF – Put an offer in for 65 thousand on a 69 thousand dollar van ..then offered 67 but was told the van was now 75 is this legal..not impressed at all ..absolute crap..
Best deal we got Toyota rav 4 only running 28k in 21 k – Nathan has been very caring and helpful Got very good deal both cars we got from them were reliable and staff always helpful. Will do deal again with them and highly recommend.
Terrible – Absolutely would never recommend, stuffed around so much. Sold an unroadworthy vehicle, didn’t offer a decent solution after knowing we sold our van to purchase this and they and had to buy it back, and we are know left with a devastated family having to cancel our year long awaited trip.
New Ssangyong – Very happy with all aspects of customer service. Product knowledge of the new Ssangyongs were great & I felt extremely happy in the choice that I made. Thank you Bergmans team!!
Bergamans auto group Rockingham – What a joke second hand car given to us with empty brake master cylinder after having to wait a day for a 100 point safety check rang manager full of excuses caravan yard even worse all liars with sales person and manager blaming each other never go to bergamans auto group again
Caravan consignment – I had my caravan on consignment at Bergmans Rockingham for around 6 months in which time a road wheel, jockey wheel, scissor jack and the stowable table all went missing . I now have it back home, never ever again will I trust a dealer with my caravan.
Golf with a falling rooflining – After watching Today Tonight Friday 25 May, I would also like to let people know about our experience. We bought a golf Gti last year for my teenage son, a 2009 for $17,000.00 It was only when we got it home that we noticed the roof lining hanging down. When we asked them to fix that for us because you can get a yellow sticker for it, they… Read more
refused. We truly thought caryards weren’t allowed to sell cars like that. The car salesman said he knew it was like that when they put it on the lot. So buyer beware! They said that’s why they thought we negotiated $500 off the original price. After a heated conversation with the manager he said they’d pay half of $400 to fix it. They were extremely rude about it all. We decided to pay to fix it elsewhere rather than deal with them again.
Terrible – If you buy a vehicle from this mob without a warranty make sure you do a thorough inspection or have a spare 5.000 grand available you might need it don't worry about ringing them they will just hide behind the no warranty deal.
Terrible after sales service – Bought a brand new Ssangyong Korando here in 2012, with a 5 year warranty. Extremely unhappy with their after sales service. If there was a no star rating on here, that's what I'd rate them. Caveat Emptor (buyer beware), once they take your money, it’s goodbye Charlie.
Honest and respectable – Honest and respectable trade in prices compared to dealers and "we pay top price" buyers. Would recommend dealing with this company whether it's buying or selling. Trade in your car with them
Car Service – Just had a major service done on my Car at Bergmans in Rockingham, excellent service at very good price. Especial thank you to Ryan, great help with the quote and getting things done. thank you guys keep up the good service
First and last time for tyre fitting – I bought four new tyres from tyresales.com.au and chose Bergmans for fitting as they were close to home and the fitting included a complimentary car clean. I dropped the car off and was told it would take about 2 1/2 hours as they would need to take it off site for a wheel alignment. Five hours later, I get a call to say the car is ready (major… Read more
hold up at the alignment place). I pick the car up and it hasn't even been cleaned and I sure as hell wasn't hanging around any longer to wait for them to finish cleaning it either!
