never been ignored by a company the way Best Telecom do. When I tried to break the contract, I was told to wait until my contract ended to avoid paying the break fee (which was extortionate). I asked to be informed before the contract ended so I could cancel at the appropriate time and I assumed they would do so. They did not and my contract rolled over for another two years, without warning. When I signed up with a new provider, they refused to let them takeover my services, which is illegal in NZ. DO NOT, use this service! They will scam you!

teething issues as we added some additional technology to our environment but the support team treated us like adults and humans and ensured our expectations were met and even exceeded in some circumstances.

Now that COVID has come along we called the accounts team who were more than willing to offer support and assistance in parts of our business where we needed it most. This is a company that will bend over backwards to ensure you're happy with their service and retain you as a long standing customer. If these are values you're after in a company you want to do business with in the long term, I cannot recommend Best Telecom enough.

Big productivity boost – We've had a massive productivity boost since switching to NBN 100 Our business relies on almost 100% online and we've experienced virtually zero downtime in the last year since we upgraded plus speeds that make delays minor or inconsequential for download. Be Careful – Read the fine print and then throw the contract in the bin. After paying for 3 years of business services (all inclusive) upfront, we received multiple monthly additional charges. When we challenged them for a breakdown of costs we never got an answer or real justification of what the charge was for. When it came to the end of our contract we gave… Read more

notice within the timeframe of 'notification' but were charged a cancellation fee. When we questioned why we were being charged this amount we were told it was because we broke the contract. We also asked what would have happened if we didn't give notice and was advised our contract would have rolled over, for another year and an extortionate amount of money. We were also told that if we had given notice (rather than breaking a contract) they would have charged us for the period of time it took our new provider to take over our service. None of it makes sense and bare in mind we had our commercial lawyers review the notice and termination clauses of our contract and we followed Best Telecoms requirements to the letter. We continue to dispute it...and of course we continue to receive penalty charges.

Would I use them again....no, run a mile and then keep going.

Worse than useless. Warning – Misrepresentation of services, poor service, hidden costs, misleading and over charged. They have been reported to TIO. We are stuck with a 5 year contract. Useless communication and service. They will screw you for every dollar. After being conned into a 5 year contract with amazing promises. Installed old redundant complicated PABX for a small office with 5 staff and PAYG calls. Indian based and terrible follow-up.

NBN delivery awesome – I recently joined Best Telecom after having had a horror story with Telstra, TPG and Optus. It’s taken them a couple of weeks to get things sorted but I now have full speed. installing my modem and connecting my house phone into the modem was so well explained and i was walked through every step of the way.

My plan also dropped and im now saving more money aswell.

Even when i inquired about a charge on my bill they got back to me within a few days and fixed the problem.

2 minutes!!!! I can’t beleive how great it was! My quiries got answered so quickly and everything got explained so I could understand (I repel technology)!

Would never go back to my old telephone/internet company!

my phone plan as our home internet provided by Best Telecom was so slow and sometimes it didn’t work for days. It was frustrating to say the least. Now I have a new NBN provider as my so called contract finished in January and my new provider was connected in March, now Best Telecom is charging me cancellation fees of $110 and I still need to pay the monthly fees till May, what a joke!!! They can accept a contract through by phone conversation but not accepting cancellation through phone conversation or emails. Does it only work one way??? One star rating is still way too many!! I will never ever recommend you to anyone!!!

Please Do Not Approach This Company – We used Best Telecom as a recommendation through Bartercard. They charged our card $4k in advance for a service which we never agreed and has took us months to get a refund from them. We have sent emails however they block your IP Address and calls are never returned, Hence Customer Service is Non Existent!! This company will not be around for long so do not use.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy – Customer service is hopeless, the bills are always debited on varied days before the due date so you can't anticipate the charges, there's no response via emails and it takes weeks to get a simple exit fee out of them.

Liars and time wasters – I have had multiple run ins with this company. Tried to follow up discrepancies and then no responses which coincidently are then answered after my next invoice is to be billed. You get different stories depending on who you talk too and lied to on the phone just to get you off it. The absolute worst company i have ever had to deal with.

This company should be shut down – Very bad service. Staff was very rude and lied. They will charge you a lot for no reason. I'm unhappy with them. Normally I paid $39 per month with DODO for home phone but they charge me more then $180 every month. It's terrible!!!

completed TIO complaint in which the TIO ruled in my favour and requested BEST withdraw their charges they send me ANOTHER bill. It took 3 months to resolve the last complaint and now I have to go through it again. The words useless, bullies, scammers, liars and theives come to mind when I think of this company. TIO should shut them down.

Scammers, Best Telecom are THE WORST telecommunications company in Australia by a country mile – Don't consider this company, just turn away and run. Terrible customer service. Rude. Owners are worse than the employers. Especially the director [name removed]. owner should be arrested – once again we have lost our mobile and data service, 10 months in a row, no surprise, seriously the worst service or company I have been involved with in 30 years of business. So further investigation and they have also TAKEN $10K from my account. NO REASON, NO COMMUNICATION, NO RESPONSE FROM THEM. company makes the rules as it goes along, bending and weaving like a pro boxer, instead of helping the customer, your made to feel a fool, whom is wasting the service providers time, with genuine grievances. If there were an award for WORST customer service in Australia, this is the company that would be in a league of its own. And the winner is Best Telecom. Sadly they have taken a word BEST in their name, but if they were honest to the market, it would say, WORST Telecom, we are what we say we are.. The Worst. Be very careful any whom are at first taken in by the friendly Director/s, it lasts the moments he sells you, and then he grabs your airtime and becomes the rude queen/wicked witch. I feel duped that we put our faith in this company, don't make our mistake, go to a more reputable company whom can fix service faults and will not hold emails and web domains to ransom. Expensive And Rotten Service – I cannot believe how much I am paying per month for barely using my phone. I even get slug a $13 late payment fee for being 1 day late. Let's not forget I hardly use the phone, so they are making a killing from me. In regards to service...forget it. It took me weeks and many phone calls and many emails just to get ownership transferred. Stay away.

"Unfortunately, we cannot get anything else from the network and the WiFi connection is not guaranteed at any speed. The only way to get the best speed from this service is to be connected via Ethernet cable.

I am sorry, but there is really nothing more I can do. " Whilst the customer service reps. were at least polite in their delivery of an unsatisfactory service, I found the director himself rather rude and obnoxious. I also don't think that you should have to pay for 1300 numbers and should never have to pay to call customer service, least of all for something that is their fault! I don't feel like we are receiving what we are paying for, not even close!

my comms to 2 different companies and I am saving loads of $'s and had the most amazing customer service. All Best Telecom gave me was stress. What is even more annoying is when you do churn over to a new provider from Best Telecom it takes ages, I would suggest it is the convoluted way they have their wholesale system setup. DO NOT USE BEST TELECOM. You will regret it. (PS: I originally gave them 2 stars because when I did not need to use their customer service everything worked fine however since they have given me 3 invoices since end of may none of them correct and all trying to squeeze money out of me that is not correct I have reviewed it down to 1.) Just do no use them if you get a recommendation turn your back and find another supplier. It is the customer service that is rubbish and that is the backbone of any company.
