Don’t bother…they don’t last long at all – 18 months old and the pump has packed up. Dearer to buy new pump than we paid for the complete item. I would expect it to last longer than 18 months. Show details

Good overall but very expensive to run – Works well and is easy to setup. My main disappointment is there is no way to precisely schedule the pump and heater run times each day so I can just run the pump and heater 4 to 6 hours per day during daylight hours when I have ample excess solar power available. The inbuilt energy saving timer is useless as needs to be manually set each day as… Read more

setting are cleared after the cycle is completed. You also cannot just use an external PowerPoint timer to achieve this because once the power is cut, manual intervention is required to reset the safety switch and reset the pump and heater settings.

It's crazy that the designers didn't spend $10 more per unit to make it possible to have an option to automate the pump and heater run times per day rather than leaving it always on or having to program a new timer daily.

Affordable spa luxury that heats water – The best thing about this, aside from affordable price, is the fact that it heats the water. It does take several hours but it’s very quiet. An Inflatable lid keeps it nice and insulated, in Autumn, there’s only a 10° C drop overnight, from 40°C down to 30°C, - which means reheating it is much quicker than if it were 20°C say. Today, on this warm… Read more

autumn Queensland Australian Day, it took five hours to go from 30 to 40°C (11am - 4pm) A proper ‘plumbed in’ fibreglass spa averages about $5000+, so this one, that was only $550 is a total bargain. It’s perfect for renters because it doesn’t need to be plumbed in, it just needs to sit on a flat surface. Mine doesn’t leak at all. Ofcourse the hose will have to reach it, if you can attach a hose to your hot water tap then that saves a lot of time heating, for your first spa, and or any water change overs. Whenever I change over the water I can use it on my washing, with my 15w submersible pump, -it does five loads. (I can then re-use that water on the garden -no water is wasted at my place! ! ) So if the lid is kept on, and it’s out of sunlight, then algae doesn’t get a chance to form, and no chlorine is required, or minimal amount - maybe a splash of vinegar -it’s worth checking the pH every so often. I’m the only one that uses mine, but this is a two-person spa, I think it would be a little cramped with two, but that’s just me. I do find it has to be really hot, or I get a little achy afterwards - so I don’t bother getting in until it reaches at least 37°C, ideally wait till it gets to 40 °C, but it does depend on the temperature outside. I wasn’t sure whether I would like it in summer, as it gets really hot here, and I know I often feel like hot baths in winter - but this autumn has been very warm, and I have loved having a spa in the cooler evenings. It was very easy to set up and connect. I found I just had to watch a couple of YouTube videos and not bother reading the manual! YouTube videos are great, although there is some variation between models, for instance, the Tahiti has an additional hose for another outlet.

It would be really good if it beeped when it reached 40°C to let me know it’s ready, even if it was smart connected to an app on phone, to control the temperature, that would be great.

The company that makes these inflatable spas - I looked on their website, and this is their business mission: “Born to make the world ever better” ! I love it -because this is exactly what they have done, a touch of luxury for low / middle income people too. Thanyou Intek

It was Catch.com who took 3 1/2 mnths to deliver it. And the Courier Allied express who refused to deliver it even though they said they had it at their depot? - weirdos?. Way too many problems to shop there again. Big W sells it for $499, but they’re out of stock.
