Bidideal

Not a "Penny Auction" and definitely not as described! – The site is a con. The "Penny's" are actually 50c bids, so if a "$999.00" iPhone 6 is sold for "only" $30.00 that's actually 3000 x 50 cent bids, or $1500.00 Your chances of winning are minimal and the reviews that say "I've won 3/4" or "almost all" of the auctions they've bid on just cannot be true. Honestly, stick to eBay, you won't get it as cheap but you'll actually get it.
RUBBISH – I've won 2 items but haven't received any of them and everytime I do log on to check it always says NOT SHIPPED - it's been over a week now and hasn't changed. The only auctions that has ever come through are the BIDS. I've wasted so much money only to lose all the expensive items I've tried winning. Hate this site, it's RIGGED! Complete waste of time!
Got what I wanted relatively hassle free – I bid several times for a few different items, I won 3/4 items that I bid for and received them all. Service was alright, I'm happy with the result.
Bidideal is better than ther review websites – I have been shopping at Bidideal for years and I even won an iPhone for $22.09 but of course it isn't always possible but good thing is buy it now option. Yes sometimes products coming late or damaged but they do replace them as far as I understand they are just the middle website where suppliers put their own products and bidideal is just getting commission. You can catch good auctions for cheap but needs little time frame.
Rip offs – Classic con, this site is a con and should be shut down! still waiting on items, they have rubbish bidders and there is no way to contact anyone, yet they used today tonight to advertise there site???? but when you look closely at the story it doesn't mention them specifically. Con Artists Stay away!
Terrible experience – Purchased few items from then 3 months back and am still waiting for the delivery!!!! Sent numerous emails only to receive "auto" responses with some gibberish about stock unavailability etc. Could be a case for police investigation?? Those people are clearly fraud artists. Will never deal with them again and highly advise everyone else to avoid them.
They will not refund my $410 – Bid ideal is very unprofessional I have emailed them numerous times to call me and refund my money from an item that was never delivered 4 months ago. They say the same information in every email and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I just want my money back but they do not want to give it to me. They advised I had to… Read more
set up a pay pal account as they cannot refund to a credit card, upon doing this still no refund?
No customer service
Buy straight from ebay! – These guys just buy their products off ebay and have the ebay seller send it to their customer, as the customer buys the product off them. It's like going to the corner milk bar to buy a bottle of softdrink, which the milkbar bought from coles...but WAY more confusing with their bid style! Take out the middle man, and save money at the same time by going direct to ebay!
Biddeal – I personally believe that the website has company autobidders installed. there is no way to actually win more bidding tickets for less than 50 bids on the item. however if you don't bid on it, it will sell for 0c or 1c... I have been trying this theory for weeks - with the same result everytime.. expensive,, autobidders during last seconds every single auction which is bid upon
Never deal with bidideal – I bid on a camera for my daughter and ended up giving up and doing a Buy It Now, 20 working days later and it still hasn't arrived. It is a Christmas Present cost me as much as I would have bought for in a local shop and now I have no present for my daughter tomorrow (can't afford to buy another one). Have had several emails and tried the online… Read more
live support and they never connected me. Asked for a refund as I paid paypal and wanted to buy a camera for her today before Christmas and got no reply.
Guttered - Will never recommend them. I won other stupid auctions whilst I was trying to work out how it worked and hae only just received some of those items.
I would say they are a rip off and don't waste your time or money.
I am going to issue a paypal dispute over this - even though it wont help me get my daughter a Christmas Present now.
Will be a good lesson to teach her, although a pretty harsh lesson.
Delivery, support when questions asked and no refund received
Beware - Just Gambling – What nobody else mentions in their review is that you can spend hundreds of dollars and still end up not winning the auction (it's in the fine print in the terms and conditions). Every bid is 50c, the auctions can go for hours and someone coming in at the last minute can take the lot. THis is all about chance and not at all about skill as they… Read more
say. Addictive - like playing an exciting game. It's not a cheap way to buy things as they claim and I'm amazed that one reviewer said free delivery. There is no free delivery.
Waste of money – You spend more money on bids and it's near impossible to win anything. Even the smallest item. You end up paying more buying bids than what the item actually costs. It's pretty much gambling for the jackpot prize and never ever reaching the prize. I wouldn't say it's a scam, but more of a different type of gambling.
Definitley not recommended!! – Don't believe this is a scam, however it is very difficult to win unless you are totally committed. There are people on there who are stocked up on bids to use and can bid freely while you may not be able to do so. Think about it this way, $1 of bids equals $50 profit to the company :/ $50 is also the amount you need to register with the website… Read more
which misleads people into thinking how easy it is to win. You get 100 bids for this amount but with the way the auction works, this is a measly amount if you want anything decent (iPads, TVs etc.). Its also a massive waste of time as you have absolutely no idea when the auction ends.
Wish I had read these reviews before registering and I wouldn't be regretting spending $50. Just remember if its too good to be true, it probably is... easy to understand, easy registration process take money for initial registration, very difficult to win, huge waste of time
Don't even try! – I lost around $1000 on it, stupid me and learnt that: - RRP price is always more expensive than real price! so in all cases they will make good money! - Set auto bidder is not save, they can still interfere it. Example is I still lost in the bidding when i had auto bidder with plenty bids to release. I contacted them for many times, they were… Read more
very polite in the first few emails but nothing sorted out! then they stayed quiet!very improfessional!
- There are guys bidding crazily on a few things and spend money 2-3 times more than the value of the item! I doubt the integrity of this website, doubt that these guys are real bidders! as commercially, you will not pay $30 for an item only worth $10. They may just be ppl from bidideal just try to rip off us!
- Goods are low quality, except for a few things like iphone, ipad...other things are Chinese things that look cheap!
Overall this is gamble and they control a lot of the game! don't ever try!
Shopper beware – Very misleading site; 1st page showed auction finishing in few minutes; had to register and paid $50.00; returned to page and auction was then finishing in over 9 hours! could not sit in front of my computer for 9 hours! I asked for my money back and still waiting after 1 month and 2 emails telling me my refund was coming; contacted PayPal for refund Misleading site and very poor customer service
They pocketed my money! Buyer beware!! – I won 3 auctions. Just little things- and paid $9.95 each for shipping. Nothing ever arrived. They were extremely rude to deal with via email - no other way to contact them! All up I lost $80 ($50 worth of bids plus postage! I tried to communicate on their Facebook wall- they deleted my posts!!! Not happy :( My "wins" never arrived! Awful customer service!
Seems to be decent shipping, not too shonky on service – EDIT: This review is almost 3 years old, so the site may be waaay different from then. Considering most penny auction sites out there, bid ideal doesn't seem that bad. I was on bidrivals and boy did that go downhill fast. Best to only go to these sites if you actually want to buy the item. This site includes the buy-now option (2 hours after… Read more
auction ends only), so it would be best to buy the bids up to 50% of the item you really want to buy. If you don't win, simply buy it, the prices on the site on the newer items are accurate, but avoid the camcorders the postage is less than a month which is what bidrivals did to me theres a lot of cruddy stuff on there, not many interesting items
Best and Easy auction website – I've never really been into online shopping to be honest. But since my friend suggested checking out Bidideal I'm hooked! It's becoming a habit and I'm grabbing so many amazing deals that I don't think I could go back to shopping in stores again. I would recommend Bidideal to anyone, I saved a lot. reliable, secure, fun, cheap, easy
Waste of time and money – Wow! If you want to waste some serious money- this is the site for you- You can read ALL the tips in the world, check service providers, get up at 2am but unless you buy a million credits the professional bidders will wipe you out- Complete waste of time and money- Can only seem to win by fluke or if noone wants it.... For anyone who loves losing money and Vegas is too far away... I think Bidideal will be great! time wasting and very expensive
Good Auction site – I have been bidding on Bidideal for last few months and I can say that I saved more than $1000 in total. I enjoy bidding at Bidideal and they are good. It's basically for everyone and you can always buy the item you want without any question. They are not a scam website for sure. Great Prices
