Very poor communication – Red flag I paid for a raised garden bed and another single garden bed and have yet to hear back from birdies when I will see this product. - money has been paid and taken out of my account…. they will not answer their phone or return email not impressed.
Paint peeling off – Contacted Birdies Garden Products due to an issues with their Raised garden beds. I purchased 2 Birdies raised garden beds just over a year ago from Bunnings. as to toxicity issues.
I grow all my fruit and veggies organically.
I am also disappointed as it looks like I will not be able to continue using this product and now the soil and veggies may be contaminated.
I don't understand why this has happened to only one of the raised beds as both were purchased the same time. The same soil/conditions have applied to both as well.

The paint is a polyester paint and is the same as used on roofs, gutters, fences and downpipes.
It is non toxic.
It is superficial and can degrade over time. I have attached an MSDS on the paint.
I can accept that it may well be non toxic paint but expected it to last a lot longer.
Very Poor Workmanship; No Customer Support – Bought 2 Cypress Pine 0.8x0.4x0.85 raised garden beds; both needed substantial strengthening due to excessive tolerances in the dovetail joints. 4 short end pieces were badly damaged through either very poor machining or non-existent quality control. It is now Thursday and still no response from the manufacturer. Very disappointed in this Australian company.
