Just the most awful thing I have ever had the displeasure of owning – Don't be fooled, especially if you find a low price, this is an absolute pig to try to put together. Sheds are tricky by nature, but this takes the cake. Buy it, rent a trailer, drive straight to the tip and toss it out, best $50 you will never spend.

Worst shed possible – Worst kid of shed i have seen and used. Water leaks between the panels. Flimsy construction. flat roof so water stays on roof and keeps leaking into the shed even after the rain is gone. Save money and heartache. Look elsewhere. Bought from Bunnings. They shouldn't sell products like these.

Looks ok, murder to assemble – Assembly is a disaster. Slide parts look so easy, but its like trying to fit round pegs into a square holes...the instruction booklet was hopeless, it was either too simple or gave engineer like guidelines. The designers should be ashamed and Bunnings should pull it from their shelves (probably that's why it was on sale)

Smart shed? Hardly – Bought a few of these from Bunnings as they were going out on clearance ($250 down to $50). Alarm bells should have rang. First one assembled reasonably ok but nowhere near as easy as the video depicts. Very fiddly. I've just tried to assemble the second one and I cant even get the sheets to slide into the back panel. First sheet went in ok, the… Read more

next one no chance. I've tried everything but all i'm doing is damaging the sheets. I'm going to have to bin this one now as the sheets are damaged beyond repair.

I would take a shed with a million little screws anyday! Save your money and your sanity and look elsewhere.

Look elsewhere – The shed was relatively easily to assemble, especially placement of the panels into the frame. Only one piece was missing - a 40mm 5/16 hex screw - which a quick trip to Bunnings solved. The frame and panel construction of the shed is quite strong, however the door is extremely flimsy. A cross bar needs to be supplied to stop it waving. Not only… Read more

that, but supplying a padlockable door bolt for attachment to a corrugated panel is laughable, especially when only hex screws are supplied. The door itself does not seal the shed entirely and appears to be an afterthought on an otherwise average product.

Multiple parts missing – I can not believe Bunnings stock such a terrible product. Reminds me of the Masters days. Firstly no foam inserts or bottom c channel. Bunnings get rid of this product from your line up

Great backyard shed! – After considerable online analysis to find an easy to build small garden shed, a decided on purchasing the Birdies Smart shed due to a number of unique features including its screwless corrugated panels and Aluminium frame. I decided to purchase from Bunnings as it was on sale there. Bunnings had one already erected which almost put me off making… Read more

the purchase as it was poorly assembled (not a good sales strategy)!

Anyway, I had delivered from Bunnings. It arrived in a flat pack weighing 40kg. The instructions were easy to follow and I managed to put the whole shed together with no assistance in four hours! The shed comes with all fittings including screws to fasten the frame together. It also came with foam inserts to fill the gaps between the corrugated sheets and the frame. You will need a good variable speed drill and a 3mm (metal) and 10mm (masonry) drill bits. The masonry drill bit is required to drill into your concrete base and to anchor the shed with the supplied brackets and dyna bolts.

I am no tradie however this shed was a breeze to assemble. The only reason I gave this shed four and not five stars in because I felt the door was a bit flimsy and the supplied latch and fittings were not fit for purpose. The latch is secured by self tappers that can easily be unscrewed. I will modify mine on my next trip to Bunnings. I ran a hose with a rain head attachment and the shed was water tight! Would recommend to anyone looking for an economical and strong shed to store garden tools and other bits clogging your garage!
