VERY DISAPPOINTING Sold as New Zealand Whiting. The packet cost $11.00. 250g of product and only 56%, thats 140g, of crappy tasteless fish from Thailand. Coated in horrible tasteless batter which we took off, leaving tiny pathetic slivers of soggy fish. This is an absolute rip off. For $78.57 a kilo you can buy real fish products, rather than this overprices junk food. Shame on you Birds Eye, I will never buy your products again. Show details

Claims to be NZ Whiting but ingredients say it's from Thailand and other places with no food safety. You get only 5 scrawny pieces of something tasteless and it's more batter than anything else. So they lie about the product, rip you off and basically sell you batter. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Show details

You have got to wonder about this product when it is named New Zealand Whiting and in the detail it says packed in Thailand from multiple origins!

very little fish content is beyond me and I won't buy Bird's Eye or Simplot products again.

I called Simplot and told the customer service rep about the above and she said that she will let them know and did not even offer any feedback. I am not sure who she is going to let know but she was not interested in my feedback.

Bad smell and taste – Have been buying Birds Eye Deli Fish (Various Types) for some time now. In the beginning the fish was quite tasty. False advertising – Very misleading title and claims. Title on pack ‘ New Zealand Deli Whiting’ “ Packed in Thailand from multiple origins” so why say that the product is New Zealand Whiting when it’s clearly not.
