the real killer for these units is this: Blueant used the weirdest, most unique lithium battery in the units, and it is now impossible to obtain replacements. Being fairly handy, I removed the battery to try and find a replacement: no such luck! None of the specialist battery suppliers has them, there are none on Ebay, and in fact the only supplier seems to be AliBaba, which is fine if you want a hundred of them! Worse, it is so space limited that no other 3.7V batteries of similar configuration will fit in the battery compartment.

All in all, a reasonable product, but once its battery dies you have nothing but an ornament left. Best avoided.

Rubbish, avoid – When it works it is ok but most of the time you are trying to connect the phone to it. Very very very hard to connect sometimes, usually when you are receiving a call. All units should be destroyed to avoid car accidents. battery life is good but not redeeming enough battery life

Bad – I hope this explaination makes sense... You need to connect the unit when you get in the car, 'cause if you don't and you try to connect when a call comes in it won't work right... Either it won't connect you, or it will connect but all you'll hear is a low murmur from the speaker. I use it in my ute which is quite noisy and even when it works… Read more

right (if you connect it BEFORE the call) it's often only just loud enough - also I'm told it is not the clearest at the other end of the call. So all in all it's only just an average unit at best. Solid build, great battery life, easy to pair, simple operation I've used this with two different phones and for something so simple it's not 100% reliable

OK – I have had this unit for over 12months the first one wwas replaced under warranty when it would not connect at all. It is an OK unit when it works, but quite often when it is paired to the phone and a call comes in, pressing the receive button does nothing and you have to scramble for the phone. life is good and it has good volume and speaker quality is good. I just wonder if there are better units out there? sound quality and build Doesn't automatically re-connect when you leave and return to the vehicle.
