Body Up Evolution

This chair is not as easy as it looks! – Can only be used on skinny clients. Does not work on someone who is large! Very difficult to use on someone who had a stroke and one side is weak or immobile. It took us 2 people to use. Found out the seat is too small. Our client because of the stroke kept getting her shoulder caught on one side while lifting her seat up.

for her. By chance, I came across the Bodyup Evolution Patient Transfer Lift Chair and have since brought it into Australia.

The chair is truly remarkable, no batteries, extremely well made, heavy duty and best of all Mum is so happy. Mum can now sit in the lounge chair, easy transfer from bed to wheelchair, we haven't yet tried the transfer to the car, but should do shortly. I would recommend anyone who has a frail or disabled parent, is a Carer, or a disability equipment supply service to check out their website or facebook as you will be pleasantly surprised.

It would be wonderful if one could purchase the chair directly in Australia, and not have to import it, but Bodyup Evolution has no problem shipping the chair to Australia. If you do end up importing the chair, I would go through a Importer/Exporter broker (I used Powerhouse International Pty Ltd, they were terrific,they do all the paperwork). The chair comes in different sizes depending on weight, plus there is a Certificate of Compliance (Swiss Approved). When you purchase the chair I would also purchase the Stabilisation Straps. I have found the straps very helpful in keeping the cushion in place as I turn Mum around on the bed, check it out on youtube, you will see what I mean.

I have no hesitation in recommending the Bodyup Evolution chair, and the Company to everyone. As I have previously stated, it is truly a remarkable chair, and I cannot believe that we have no suppliers in Australia. I also found that the UK has the chair listed on the Health Care, America has it, and most countries in Europe also have suppliers. COME ON AUSTRALIA, WE TOO NEED THE BODYUP EVOLUTION CHAIR HERE.
