Many empty shells, disturbed to see unopened ones also. broth was very lacking and salty. Mussels were small and basically absent or so small this was a big pot of empty promises and dissatisfaction. Show details
Very small mussels, some as small as my thumb nail, two of the shells were empty and I couldn't find the mussels in the broth either, nice broth for dipping bread after. Would I buy them again from Woolworths - no - too expensive for what you get
The White Wine and Garlic version delicious! Mussels were good quality and tender, sauce very tasty. Quick and easy treat for a two person lunch or entree. Unfortunately didn’t enjoy the Tomato Sauce version. Show details
Interesting , But! – Interested to try, the idea is great , but Mussels are very small, a lot of liquid, normal. Perhaps with pasta, not mentioned on package, but seen on ytube video. I would not buy again. Show details
Dont Buy or Eat – Very cheap easy option, but not worth eating. The tomato broth was very salty and not very unique. The mussels haven't been debearded and tiny and bit powdery. Overall, I had a few mouthfuls then added to compost bin. Honestly, just buy loose mussels and even if you only used a jar of passata to steam them in, it would taste far better. Do not recommend them at all. Show details
The broth is nice but you need a crusty dipping bread to have with it – Foodland had them out for $5 I found the taste was good , the broth was just right for dipping but the size of the mussels was so small about the size of 10 cent piece not at all like on the packet yes I would buy again at the cheaper price and I have bought 4 so it's fine I cooked as per instructions in the micro but I don't know what happened to the Mussels they disappeared Show details
Wouldn't buy again – I like salt, but this was way too salty for me. The mussels were tiny. Show details
Excellent seafood starter – Had the odd dodgy mussel in my time so was a bit wary when it came on special. It consists of a dozen South Australian mussels in a wine & garlic sauce. 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave & done. Very tender, not like the seafood chewing gum I've had before. Long shelf life (fridge) $8.99. Would recommend it
