Brabantia Touch Bins

Not worth the cost - Terrible after sales service and support – Overpriced and not worth the premium - Considering the hefty premium you are paying for a garbage bin, you would naturally expect a level of after sales support that would justify the price. My recent experience in attempting to get assistance from Brabantia to repair an issue with my bin has left me extremely disappointed with what is supposedly meant to be a premium brand. Firstly, warranty and service requests are dealt with by a distributor in Australia and not directly with Brabantia. They spent more time attempting to justify why my issue cannot be covered under warranty, rather than providing actual customer care and assistance to repair and return my bin back to working functional order.

After 2 weeks of correspondence, only to be told that my product "cannot be repaired", with no further assistance or options given. I'm now left to figure out on my own what can be salvaged from this piece of overpriced garbage (without the bin), and considering the grand premium I paid for this product to begin with, I shouldn't have to...

Good quality – I have 2 of these smallish size bins in our bathrooms and they are worth the investment they are great. 7 years on still look new. Only negative is that there are large slits/holes on one side of the bin that you see unless you are careful to insert the inner bin correctly and place these unsightly holes at the back. If these holes were not present I would say they are perfect :)

Good product, amazing customer care – Good, solid product. Similar to other review, our product had a small latch peice dislodge off after a few years of use. We'd lost the receipt, but on contacting Brabantia, they sent out an entire new lid with a minimum of fuss. Would buy more from them, and recommend.

Wonderful product & fantastic customer service – I bought one of these bins several years ago when we were living overseas. When moving back to Australia I didn't keep the receipt. The plastic catch on the lid broke a few months ago. I contacted Brabantia in the UK because I'd heard about their good customer service. I explained I no longer had the receipt but nonetheless they sent me a whole new lid at no cost, I didn't even have to pay for postage. The lid has been redesigned so the "catch" doesn't break as easily and it's now easier to replace just a small part of need be.

i would definitely recommend this product, which is still stylish despite being a few years old and it's back by remrkable customer service.

Terrible – I am not impressed - disgusted really - I will look for the warranty (if we got one) and see if it is covered. the model is large H 50-60L nice round shape with easy closing hands free lid - until it breaks the bin fails to close because the connection clip on the lid is made of PLASTIC. and breaks easily - what a terrible design fault - made of plastic - a working/moving part - now the bin is useless to me as it doesn't click shut
