Assembly could be easier – This telescope took an hour to assemble. To align the viewfinder scope, the instructions say to point the telescope at an object 300-500m away, and twist the "6 adjusting screws." The instructions should say to (a) point the telescope at an object at least 300m away, (b) twist the 3 adjusting screws to align the finder scope to the same object and… Read more
(c) if necessary, remove the finder scope, slightly loosen the two screws holding the finder scope mount, rotate the mount slightly, tighten each of the two screws while using a finger to hold the nut on the end of the screw, replace the finder scope, and repeat steps a and b.
