Region embossing doesn't work – The only good thing about this kit is the Embossing tools. The rest of it is rubbish, including the instructions. If you want to Region Emboss, see "Craft in Spain" Scan n Cut Embossing hack for clean, simple method. If you must pursue Brother's instructions, note: 1. your mat MUST be new or completely clean as you cannot remove blotches after it scans, 2. make sure you fully adhere the Scan Support sheet: any bubbles or creases will be scanned and and will be reproduced in your embossing, 3. Have LOTS of Washi or low tack tape on hand as you will need it. This kit is grossly over priced as the only thing of value in it is the Embossing tools and the Activation card. One hack suggested I didn't need the tools either as you can use a dried up ball-point pen in the Universal pen holder; it will work just as well. Brother should save the environment and just sell the Activation card and the Embossing tools as individual items because the rest of the kit is rubbish.
