Bushnell Permafocus

Bought for myself – these binoculars work as described. I am very happy with them. The postage time was not as one has come to expect but I think this is because of the changes in Australia Post delivery times and doesn't seem attributable to the supplier. Not for bird spotting – I purchased these on-line after researching binoculars for bird watching. One site specifically claimed they were suitable for this purpose. The perma focus is a clever innovation. There is no focusing required, everything your eye falls on is in focus so no time is wasted with manual adjustment. Brilliant! There is just one drawback, the minimum focal distance is about 20m with easy viewing starting at around 30m. So these binoculars are superb for mid to long distance but useless for closer subjects, and are therefore not good for all round bird spotting duty. Value at $110 delivered. Great images for distant objects. Perma focus brilliant. Minimum focal distance is too high for spotting small to medium sized birds.
