Bushranger Max Air 3

Quiet, convenient and reliable – I've been using this 12V inflator for a couple of years now and it is an excellent product. Generally can re-inflate my 4wd and camper tyres up to 10 to 20psi all-round in under 15 minutes. The inflator gun is high quality with an accurate gauge, the compressor is exceptionally quiet and has auto cutoff so it doesn't run when repositioning… Read more
between wheels.
It hasn't missed a beat and the current draw is under 30amps so easy to power it through a standard Anderson plug.
Great value compared to the over priced icon brands. Highly recommended.
Bushranger Max Air 3 – Have had my max air 3 for nearly 3 years now and it is great. Used it alot in hot rough conditions, fishing trips most weekends and it keeps kickin nps. Only drawback for me is the coiled hose and they have their on fittings so you cant just plug a straight hose in. They are a fast compressor with auto cutout at around 120psi so that is very handy. Well worth the money and a huge time saver. Hope this helps.
Not for the hard work – Bushranger 4x4 Accessories is a good brand, I do own several of their solutions. I drive a 6.5 ton 4x4 camper truck with single tyres who have a max pressure of 120psi, where I use maximum 100PSI. The MaxAir 3 max pressure is up to 120 psi by the specs. It appeared that when I inflate one tyre from 45 psi (sand driving) to 95 psi, the… Read more
compressors metal quick connect fitting to the plastic hose became so hot, that the hose slipped off it. It is only supported by a spring from the outside. I replaced the hose with a high pressure rubber version hose recommended by a hydraulic shop. Again, that hose became so hot, deformed and it slipped off at 95psi. Bushranger sent me a replacement hose promising improvements, but that was a waste of time, no change.
I can't recall the time it took to infalte, but it was not out of the ordinary, 10 min maybe. The compressore was placed out of the sun under the truck, 30 C ambient temp..
I now use a larger one cylinder unbranded Chinese one, that does the job with less rpm less heat, cheaper, purchased at Jamie's Touring Solutions, Kunda Park QLD. No idea where he got them from.
