the problem is resolved. PLEASE use quality needles in your machines if you want it to make a quality stitch.

Woefully bad quality sewing machine needles – Would give no stars if I could. Tried sewing a jeans hem and the quality Gutermann top thread kept breaking. Examined the Butterfly needle using a 10X loupe and was horrified to see how poorly made the needle was. The whole packet was the same. needles into the rubbish bin.

I didn’t buy the needles. I inherited them when a sewing machine was given to me.

Once I changed to a different brand of jeans needle the sewing task was completed incident free.

I couldn’t find any reviews on the internet for these needles so here one is.
