Edited to say I was contacted by Cancer Council, my concerns were listened to and I got 2 replacement pairs in compensation. They couldn’t have done more to help resolve the problem so I’ve updated them and hope that the other frames were just a dodgy batch. No more Cancer Council glasses for me. Bought Eurella sunglasses and sure they look nice… Read more ·  2

but at only a few months the frames broke. It’s a shame because I trust the UV protection but if they can’t stay on your ears they are no good for man nor beast

Really dissatisfied with the Cancer Shop. I used them as I’ve recently had brain tumours removed and thought I’d support the cancer society. How foolish I was! Ordered two hats online using the sizing graph and received a hat sized 59cm which is too small and a hat sized 58cm which is too big. I contacted the customer service stating this,… Read more

asking to return the hats. 1st response from [Name Removed], we don’t accept returns for change of mind, we only give credits. 2nd response, measure the inside of the hats and take photo to send to us, 3rd response, I’ll escalate this to my supervisor.

[Name Removed] the supervisor responds.

“Thank you for your patience. My name is [Name Removed], your enquiry has been escalated to me. I’m sorry to hear that both hats you’ve purchased do not fit. Hat sizing can be surprisingly nuanced. Even if two hats have the same or similar advertised circumference, several factors can make one feel larger or smaller than the other. Hat shape, material, crown height and hat features such as adjustments, can make a difference. You’re welcome to send both hats back and we will inspect them in warehouse to ensure they are not faulty. Please note that if we do not find any fault with the hat measurements, we will offer an exchange only.”

They clearly do not understand that the sizing does not match their sizing chart which is the problem. They lack empathy and are incapable of providing customer service.

Gary.

I bought Acacia Sunglasses - Rose Gold × 1 for my husband. The frames are quite flimsy and the lenses offer minimal eye protection from the sun. Although they may offer protection from UV, theres no prote tion for regular light. Better quality buying off amazon.

No thanks – I bought the navy bucket hat for myself. I'm a small adult. Doesn't fit. Too small. Very flimsy too. Lucky I can alter the hat with sewing

Once were great.... now Terrible Quality – I have been using Cancer Council Sunglasses for over 10 years. I loved them as they were well built and I used them hard!! But my last 4 pairs the frame around the glass have snapped after 1 - 2 days of use. Maybe a different manufacturer or different plastic. I will not be buying again and warn others of the poor quality

Excellent personal service – The Cancer Council Shop Chatswood Chase Centre. The young sales assistant was extremely obliging and friendly. She has excellent knowledge of the stock and very caring of my wife’s needs. Most definitely not a pushy sales person but a real credit to her employer. If you want t attention by a very competent young lady this shop is recommended. Show details

Sunglasses broke easily – I bought a pair of the sunglasses that fold in the middle of the frames and they snapped so easily after only three weeks of use. This was after being careful in how I put them on and how I folded them! They broke when I was simply putting them on. Since they apparently have a one year warranty I took them back to the shop but was refused a… Read more

refund or exchange. What's the point of having a warranty if you are just not going to follow through on it? Also disappointed I wasted $50 on something that doesn't even last.

Great shades, crap frame that snaps after a short time simply placing on head – A wonderful lens and great for reducing eye strain in sunlight. Unfortunately this is the second pair I've bought and the first pair broke identically......but I figured first pair maybe I over stretched simply putting on..... I'm talkin approximately 15 months of wear and we are not talking daily wear......as a pensioner I find I very… Read more

disapponting that the frame quality is crap for the price of the product. I'm going to buy them again....like I said, the quality of the lens is no issue but geez......they are like 5c frames
