Great Lens – Canon has produced a new great set of lenses especially designed to shoot motion (video) work. The complete CN-E Cinema prime lens set have a 300 degree focus rotation which allows for precise focus pulling. They also have the lens markings on angled surfaces on both sides of the barrel, making it easy to read focus and aperture settings from behind or either side of the camera.

For those that can't decide, focus markings can be switched from imperial to metric.

Another great feature is that there is a uniform gear position across the CN-E primes range, with diameter and rotation angle as well as front lens diameters all the same, enabling the film crew to quickly change lenses without adjustment of the rig setup. This means not having to change the matte box donut or move the follow focus etc.

They as a solid good looking set of lenses, that have a beautiful warm look to their images. Built for cinema shooting, Full frame coverage
