Capalaba Outpost

It is a shame to have to write this as they are a good popular shop otherwise. There is a good selection of food and the coffee is delicious. I tried to resolve this calmly with staff but it didn’t happen. I believe this type of pricing in the photo is deceptive. I bought strawberries for what I thought was $5.99 as the sign showed and checked the receipt when I got home to see $15.99 had been charged.

Went back this morning the day after and questioned them regarding this. Was told, “Oh yeah, both types are in there. You have to sort through to see which ones you want.”

It is a good shop otherwise but I think it is a sneaky tactic. A zoomed in view (next to the price) will show the more expensive stock mixed in with the cheaper ones.

In the background on the left with no price are the dearer strawberries but I was assured it wasn’t accidental. They were intended to be mixed together.
