Problems with straps breaking – I've been buying this and similar Casio watches for some 25 years - clearly I'm a bit fan. But in recent years, I've found the plastic straps keep breaking. I now buy a couple of spares and replace the straps when they break, as happened this morning yet again. Hopefully Casio is aware of this and taking steps to fix the problem. Show details

eight years the band of my last unit finally broke but the watch was still running fine. It looks great and wears really comfortably. Nothing since it came out in 1989 has beaten this model in my opinion.

casing cracked where the strap pin connected. I got another one and exactly the same thing happened. After my fourth replacement, I gave up! Call me cynical, are Casio trying to push the G-shock?

Forget the expensive watches – This watch has everything that a normal user can possibly need. Water resistant, accurate timing, light in weight, easy-to-replace battery, durable, a nice classic watch face, stopwatch, alarm, timer, 24 hour time... What more do you need?
