I and my partner use this product for cramp elevation, muscle pain, better night sleep and general overall health as it's recommended by many sources. However my husband accidentally or with out knowing by taking Magnesium, Cenovis brand overdosed on Vit B6. He has been recalled by GP due to extremely high B6 in his blood. His level is 751nmol/L and normal is below 110. When we researched at supplements we found he is taking B6 part of Mega B+ Swisse at 41.1mg per tablet below 50mg as daily maximum. But then we reaserched and found his Magnesium Cenovis contains 60mg of B6. And it's not even advertised at the front to say Magnesium + Vit B6 but just written at the back as some insignificant part. My husband was taking over 100mg when combining those two without taking into consideration Cenovis Magnesium having huge dose of Vitamin B6
Follow-up · - I read that is Magnesium at the front and that is all I assumed was in it. I never suspected large doze of another Vitamin combined with it. - I didn't contact supplier as they know what they do but is not properly advertised at the front as it's not only Magnesium. That is why I wrote my comments in the first place as it might help other people.
Bought their Magnesium supplement (200 pack). Used it for about 6 weeks and started getting constant migraine with visual disturbances. Then I discovered it also has 60mg of B6 (toxic dose) Tried calling them but their only contact is a 1800 number that answers, you hear nothing, and 10 seconds later it disconnects! Contacted the parent company (sanofi-aventis healthcare pty ltd) in Brisbane to complain, no response. Would give them 0 if possible. Have reported them to TGA. Have just read TGA will stop all of these companies selling products with toxic doses of B^ in supermarkets.
Rang contact number, as on Cenovis B complex tablet container. The automative response asked me to press no 1 if I wanted to hear the criteria for the information they collect from the caller. Pressing 1 doesnt play their criteria or info on what is collected It just replays their original message that they are required tolet you know ,what they are collecting. Then they give you the option of pressing number 2 if you want to skip the information and proceed . I pressed no 2 and it did not proceed to anything , it just went back to the original message , that cenovis are required to let you know the criteria and info they are collecting. After going through this merry go round I can only conclude Cenovis do not want consumers to contact them and they are a disreputable company .
