My credit union refunded to my account the payments that this scam operation took from my account after making an initial 50 cent purchase but NOT authorizing further purchases. You might want to do the same before they go out of business because it… Read more
won't be long before their merchant credit account that allows them to make charges against credit cards gets shut down. Act fast before it's too late.
Follow-up · I used a credit card (since canceled) for what I thought was a one-time online purchase of a test. They kept billing that card twice month for $9.99 each time without authorization that I know of unless there was something hidden in some fine print.
This is a complete scam, you will pay just 1 dolar and will receive in spam a mail, saying they will suscribe you to a different plan that cost 3000% more WITHOUT ASKING YOU ANYTHING, then it gets almost impossible to unsuscribe. I am dealing now with paypal to get a refund.
Scam. Impossible to communicate with a human. All customer support emails come from a separate AI business. I've so far received 7 emails telling me they really want to help me, they're just so busy. Abysmal. I've sent them screenshots of the multiple withdrawals from my account and heard nothing from any real member of staff.
SCAM SCAM - no email registration, no way of cancelling, they are taking my money every fortnight, no record of them on any of my emails. I am about to escalate to the bank and report as fraudulent activity as they are charging me $14 every week and cannot cancel
Don't use this site they will keep charging and billing your card that you use for the 99 cents. Every week to st Al your money keep charging and charging don't use and if you have you been check because they keepand charge you like 19.99. 29.99. And so on. Every week.its a scam to
Do not trust them. I took a one-time test in January for 99 cents. They billed me via PayPal at $19.99/month for months before I discovered it because I never checked my PayPal acct. I never had one single email from them. Not when I got the 'report'. Not when they claim the 'trial' ended. Not when they charged me each month. They even charged me… Read more
the full $19.99 on the same day as the 99 cent report. I didn't even have a login, nor did I ever go to their website. And now they are denying my refund. Im fighting them and PayPal. Stay away.
MyIQ & CEREBRUM IQ ARE TOTAL SCAMS. Their so-called “IQ tests” are completely fake. It makes absolutely no difference whether you concentrate on selecting your answers or merely click on any of answers as fast as you can. The “results” are exactly the same. The same “canned” messages pop up during the process to try to fool you as to how well you… Read more
are doing. At the end, a timer at the top of the webpage starts at 7 minutes and resets to 2 minutes after each countdown. At the top of the page, names and country flags appear with claims that the persons have just bought their “results”. If you do not purchase, they send a series of emails falsely claiming how fantastic you were. Much to their credit, Product Review has recently removed all the fake positive reviews from both MyIQ & Cerebrums IQ, and placed a warning notice at the top of each page. Unfortunately, Trustpilot has failed to follow suit with a myriad of fake reviews, almost all of which appear to be from persons with Indian names. You can try the “tests” yourself. Just don’t enter a valid email at the end. I would be surprised if you don’t receive this claim. “Personal IQ Report Your results reveal fascinating insights into your cognitive strengths and untapped potential. With scores that place you among the top performers in key areas, your abilities in Logic and Pattern Recognition are truly exceptional:”
This is a scam - avoid at all costs. They took money from my PayPal account.
This is a scam. I have been charged 8 times 48.99 and for a .99 test I did months ago. I did not sign up to subscription . I have emailed several times as the bot response will not cancel the billing of this . I cancelled my card and somehow they have been able to find get my new card details to scam me further. Avoid at all costs
Wish there were no stars because this company has fleeced my account monthly since April how dare you! I did not give you permission to deduct $24.99 each month and for what? I am 74 years old and fighting stage 3 Cancer and you do this to me you are shameless and I am reporting you to Consumer Affairs. Reading previous comments I don't expect a… Read more
refund of 3 x $24.99 plus extra .82c I was double charged for IQ result. Tomorrow I will visit my bank and out a STOP your flagrant theft from my account you are nothing but thieves.
Like others this is a scam and I only was to be charged 1.99 for the iq test and now they’ve been charging me 24.99 every week even after cancelling my card they somehow still getting payment and when looked into cancelling it wants card details again. Not trustworthy and also I checked all email addresses I have and can’t find anything from them. Not happy at all and can’t figure out how to cancel.
Is a scam, automatically signed up for subscription, after paying for a 99 cent test. Then had to waste more time cancelling. Avoid.
SCAMMERS! I took a one off test for $1.99 and they signed me up to a $114.99 per month subsription without any prior knowledge. I have been refused a refund and no information about their plan that costs this amount. $39.99 is the most expensive an on their site. BUYER BEWARE,

They took the money but never gave me the results and then claimed to have no record of me. Then they changed their story and claimed I got what I paid for - all I got was an email that asked me to pay a second time for the same thing I didn’t get before. AVOID.

I saw an ad with this company on Instagram, I thought $1 for an IQ test was good. Tried it out but at the end they tried to hook me into a trial after I already put in my bank details, so I decided to not register my email or name. After this they started to charge me $32.99 once in November, I tried to cancel and they gave me an automated message… Read more
saying it worked. But in December I was repeatedly charged $32.99 within a timespan of 2 weeks. I am currently in the process of sorting this out with my bank. In total I had 6 transactions come and had one refunded so far.

FRAUD. How can you charge people for a service that they are not aware of and not refund it when the card holder has no idea how the hell you got their details! Utter nonsense. They also sent a reply to my email regarding refund saying they “reviewed” but they have this on automatic reply because it came through within seconds. Just goes to show they just scam people for a living.

No Support or Refund – I did an IQ test on 24 Jan for $1.99. Then during the multiple pop ups, it signed me up for a two week subscription for $48.99 - total $50.98AUD for TWO weeks... So I guess it is what it is HOWEVER - I have emailed their support 14 times since 24 Jan as I have been unable to login and use a scrap of my $50.98 worth. I keep getting the same generic… Read more
reply over and over about clicking here to login and I keep telling them that it's not recognising my email at all so it will NOT let me login (even though my email is where they sent the welcome info) After the 2 week expiry date passed I requested a refund based on their own refund policy & the technical issues I had been having that they did NOT resolve in over 2 weeks. And guess what? A BOT assessed my case and rejected it 'based on their refund policy' SO beware - there appears to be no human in support who will assist you should you have any issues. Lucky those who happened to be able to login and use this. I think it's more than fair that I get a full refund after all my attempts to login to the system and the total lack of care with their generic reply over and over.
Also - just checked out the reviews on their own website :( They're all false -multiple reviews… Read more (+1 reply)
This company is a scam – They automatically subscribe you to their service when you purchase a one off test then refuse to refund you. Then when you cancel the subscription they ignore and charge you again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – Absolute scammers. Have charged me nearly $400 for a weekly subscription when I only made a one off payment for IQ test results and are now refusing to refund me as the terms and conditions were clear. I can’t even cancel the subscription as they have told me I need to log into my account. I do not have an account as I never even signed up!

Beware using this company – This app is a scam. I paid the $1.99 for 7 days and unfortunately they got my card details. 2 days later I tried to log in and it said my email was invalid. I then copied my email from their “Welcome” email and it was still invalid. Alarm bells started ringing. Up to this point I thought it was genuine. I then chatted with their bot, I kept a copy… Read more
of the conversation. They agreed to cancel and said they would send a code to cancel. That took ages and more requests. Finally cancelled and got a cancellation email. Like other users the cancellation involved many windows trying to get you to click on a cheaper weekly plan, as you clicked through the plan went way down in price. I clicked through all the windows until it cancelled. Then, a few hours after getting the cancellation email they sent me two email saying that I had agreed to the first weeks payment and my card would be debited. I did not! I cancelled my card immediately. Please don’t use this app.
I also notice here on Product Review all the positive 2 line reviews are from users who only joined Product Review mid December last year. Interesting. So I assume they are not legitimate reviews. The photo shows part of the frustrating around in circles chat with bot.

Wasn’t able to unsubscribe and was charged again – I paid $1.99 for a trial and was told I’d pay $16.99 after the trial finished. But I was fine with that because it seemed easy to cancel the subscription, clear instructions were given and if cancelled within the time frame, I’d pay nothing more than $1.99. And furthermore, I’d go and cancel after running the IQ test, 30 minutes later Things… Read more
changed though. As soon as the test was done I went to the cancellation procedure and it wasn’t in the suggested place. Instead I was directed to use the ‘Cancellation bot’.
I canceled using the bot and a 5-digital cancellation code promptly arrived at my email. I gave the code to the bot and was told the cancellation was successful.
I felt that it wasn’t enough evidence though as I’d read some scathing reviews of CerebrumIQ on Reddit.
I asked the bot about an email confirming it and it said one would be sent.
It didn’t arrive so ten minutes later I chatted with the bot and went through the cancellation again but still no email arrived.
7 days later my credit card was charged $16.99.
I contacted help email address and was told that there were no refunds. The reply email came back so quickly that it was either automatically generated or from AI.
What’s more confusing is that 3 emails are automatically replied to your one. Two suggest that you’ve got no hope and another suggest that someone will look into your issue over the next 48 hours.
I believe the positive email is there in hope that you won’t send any further emails and you’ll forget about the charge in a couple of days.
I didn’t and send another email to the help email address and received the 3 exact same replies again almost instantly.
What’s surprising is that I used Apple Pay to make the original $1.99 purchase and never knew that it would give access to my credit card for future payments. It wasn’t a subscription, it was am Apple Pay payment.
My suggestion is to stay away from this company unless you’d like to subscribe to it for longer than the initial trial. It seems impossible to cancel during that subscription period and the next payment will be made whether you unsubscribe or not.
Once they received my next $16.99 I chatted with the cancellation bot again and they told received a cancellation email. Let’s see what happened next. However now I have to go through the whole credit card chargeback process with my bank.

No no no don’t go there! – BEWARD - It’s a money SCAMing company. I paid $1.99 for a 1 week free trial of their brain training app. The deal was, if not cancelled within a week then pay $48.99. After using the app for about 20 minutes I cancelled. It was very difficult to cancel: ‘you should use the app a bit longer to learn about its benefit’ NO THANKS ‘Are you sure… Read more
you want to cancel?’ YES ‘Why do you want to cancel? GO FIGURE and on and on it went in a long loop back to the beginning. Eventually it was cancelled.
Then I went to my bank account and noticed 2 pending charges: $1.99 and $48.99. I didn’t worry too much as I thought it would be deleted the next day. How wrong I was! The next day both sums were deducted rather than pending.
What a pain. Off to the bank. Lodge a recovery claim which automatically cancels the card. Contact all my debit arrangements to update to new card details. Wait for new card. And so on.
Don’t use this crumby company. They rely on you being too bothered to get their charge on your account reversed. Crumby product. Crumby all round.

RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Do not rush with subscription – I just stumbled across "Cerebrum IQ" free intelligence online test. Just for fun I finished all 25 questions and was curious about the result but ... well you first have to pay to see the result . You have to join . It is only $2 for the first week and then $33 per week afterwards !!! This is extremely expensive ! So what is the trick ? You… Read more
pay $ 1.99 , give your credit card details ... And after few days you want to get out. Do you think they will let you of the hook so easily ? I do not think so . They now have your credit card details and are not in a hurry. If this is not so why then the first week would not be free ? Also $33 ( or $32.99 to be exact ) is RIDICULOUSLY expensive compared to other similar providers. Now to the IQ tests . The IQ test is complete nonsense. There is MUCH more to an IQ than just getting the squares and circles right. There is not a single intelligence so all those games that will improve your intelligence or memory are still just a computer games. The more you play the better you get in this game . Improving intelligence ? LOL ! The only good thing is, when I play similar games ( Lumosity) I am kidding myself that I am doing something useful and not just wasting a time playing computer games. ( haha Obviously I am an older person who thinks that playing computer games is a waste of time ... haha but it is fun ) . To finish this review , do not fall for this scam . I did not want to test it myself but I think that their intentions are more than obvious. There are many more well known providers that offer the same thing for ONE TENTH of the price.
