crush would be collected they are now refusing to do so. I suspect we had the same rude removalist as the previous reviewer; we had to collect packing from their depot as it was not delivered as arranged.

Do not honour commitments – This company did a move for us that generally went OK (though one rather grumpy team member) with the exception of the team leader damaging a piece of furniture when loading it into the van. where it was stacked and scratched the top. The piece of furniture was taken away by them and now they are claiming it is the my fault and that I need to pay for the repair.

Worst Experience Ever! – Due to a family emergency I was unable to pack anything myself, so I had to rely on Cherrybrook Removals & Storage to pack my entire house, store my items for a few months, then deliver to my new home. premium for the above service, plus an additional amount for insurance.

When the delivery truck arrived, they asked me which room was which to enable them to put the boxes & items in the correct area, which seemed easy enough. I instructed them that any unlabelled boxes should be put in the garage & I'll go through them later, not realising that 90% of my boxes were unlabelled. Everything ended up in my single car garage, which is now unusable thanks to it being full to the brim with unlabelled boxes (which I paid for them to do).

Thankfully my daughter checked the house the day after they had "done their job". She ended up collecting an entire car load of items that they had left behind (eg family photos, towels, adult roller skates, hanging wall frames, to name a few), which she then had to take to Riverstone to add to my storage unit.

As I watched items being removed from the truck, I noticed that a few items were broken (eg washing machine lid was smashed; sofa bed was broken; antique metal trunk was damaged, and the list goes on). They asked me if the items were "like that" previously, "NO", was my response.

I called the company, spoke to the manager about my broken items (they were delivered last month and I'm STILL finding damaged things), and was told that "their employees noted that they were 'like that' when they originally picked them up". After rejecting that response, & asked for photo proof (which they said I needed) I was told that I could "replace those items, eg sofa bed, by purchasing them off eBay". Again I rejected their response. They then tried to make ME feel guilty for not doing it myself! 1.5 months later, I'm still no further ahead.

Moving is challenging enough. If you want a stress free move do no use this company!!! Absolutely shocking. I'm surprised they're still in business!

Never Again – I used Cherrybrook Removals in March, they were the cheapest of the 3 quotes but not by much. I phoned the day before as they didn't contact me and was told it would be a 4 hour load so I planned my day accordingly. They arrived and loaded in record time (1.5 hours to be exact) and then left. care was taken with the furniture and they complained constantly about how the boxes were packed. The boxes were all old and had been used too many times previously as evident from the writing all over them to stay together firmly. I paid for them to disassemble and reassemble which they chose not to do however they then left items in the garage of the new property claiming they wouldn't fit up the stairs ( well they would if you had disassembled them in the first place). The load into the new house was again done in record time, (1 hour) with the new property being damaged in the process. There were things that went on those trucks that never came off which they denied when questioned the following day. Although acknowledging the items they broke no apology was issued and the money they give you to return the boxes is an insult to say the least. I have moved before and done it myself and my advice is if you are able to do it yourself then do so as it's not worth the aggravation.

Customer review – Cherrybrook Removals & Storage has been in operation for over 30 years. Most of their customers are the result of their great reputation in the local area. They also offer full insurance which means that if something does go wrong you know you are protected.
