I then purchased a new one and keeped this one for my self. What a peace of crap. Keeps freezing and have to reset every day, disconnects from wifi, loses accounts that's been signed into . Affordable Price – I was able to afford a decent sized tv for the price given. The team was amazing and great with helping me find the perfect tv! Love my tv, will definitely purchase another one down the line! Show details
Surprisingly impressed! – I was a bit hesitant to purchase this TV on sale as the deal seemed too good for the product to be satisfactory. However, we have, so far, been pleasantly surprised with the quality and features given the price. Definitely good value for the money. Show details
BEST KEPT TV SECRET, UNBELIEVABLE VALUE! – I recently bought a Chiq 32 inch H5 model LED TV for the spare bedroom as a 'sometimes' TV - this plan changed because it soon became apparent that this $250 TV from Changhong, the second largest Chinese manufacturer, is actually one of the best TVs I've ever bought. Most of my previous TVs have been premium Japanese brands. You can guess which.… Read more
This new H5 is now my main bedroom TV. That is totally surprising, given the cost which, if you register on the Changhong, sorry, Chiq Australia website, gives you a total of 5 years warranty. Try that with any Japanese or Korean branded TV as standard...The design is stunning for the money. Actually, you get more than what you pay for - slim design, rock solid feet that are actually easy to put on, sleek metal bezel and probably the best designed full size remote control I have ever held. Extraordinary. The instruction manual is extensive, too, and you'll need to read it as some of the operating logic of the TV is a bit strange but that's my only criticism: to change inputs such as blu ray, DVD or cable, you need to go into an LG-style menu system and change it manually every time. Chiq has since changed the operating system to Android on its top and mid-tier late 2019 A series models so this should not be a problem...Picture quality is outstanding for this grade of TV with rich colours and good contrast. For movies, the movie mode is all you'll ever need, just lower the backlight to 20 and sharpness to about 5-10 and you're good to go, same for the other presets. It is a very sharp, detailed, cinematic (for a 32 inch) picture with good depth of field and okay motion handling. Chiq does not aim this TV at the cinephile audience, who will probably have a bigger TV anyway for that. Sound quality is more than respectable with a good user adjustments available in the user setting. Obviously, get a soundbar if audio quality is paramount to your needs. Overall, if you are in the market for a small 32 inch TV, the Chiq H5 is one firecracker of a TV. I honestly do not know how Changhong are doing it for the money. The warranty is the best in the industry, the picture and sound quality are both top notch and the build quality is class-leading. Now that they are sold at Betta Home Living and Stan Cash stores, maybe more people will discover this incredible brand...Highly recommended!!!
