Do not recommend! I drove +1 hour to a clinic for them to not be open. ClassPass “sorry for the inconvenience, nothing we can do sorry” no refund, nothing. Impossible to speak to someone, beyond frustrating.
Absolute trash show Absolute trash show. Stay away as far as possible if you don't want to have to deal with issues. 1. prices fluctuate - classes can cost a varying amount 2. credits dont roll over unless you are on the necessary plan/membership to accomodate for the amount you want to roll-over. 3. Then you end up with too many credits to use… Read more
and classpass is particularly difficult about rolling them over for free even though its hardly possibly to use so many credits on the high plans 4. Classes may be cancelled or dont exist in the first place, but you may only find out when showing up
5. There are businesses on the platform that are no longer partnered with Classpass or never have (I know some were put in there without ever having accepted Classpass), but they (Classpass) dont remove them - ALWAYS CALL THE BUSINESS BEFORE BOOKING if it is not a normal class (e.g. beauty appointments, etc.)!!!!
I showed up to an expensive appointment for the person not to be there (Christmas). I contacted ClassPass, and they refunded (rolled over) my lost credits. I rebooked the appointment, thinking that it would be fine this time, but she was not there. The neighbour gave her my details to call, and I found out she no longer works with Classpass and does not receive booking notifications. She cancelled my appointment (the business), but ClassPass did not roll my credits over and let them expire this time. When contacting them, they told me about how accommodating they had been to already roll over the credits from the first cancelled appointment and that they could unfortunately not roll over any more credits - Even though it's the same problem all over again, and it is Classpass's fault for not keeping their platform and businesses up to date. I have lost 72 credits, which equate to around $170+, my fuel to go to the appointment that was a decent distance away and my time - TWICE! + all the time for arguing with their customer service for both appointments. I am lodging an ACCC enquiry into this business and their scammy practices.
I recently started the 14-day trial with 59 credits. I also opted into the marketing strategy to receive the additional 10 credits. When I attempted to book a specific gym, the system prompted me to upgrade my membership. After upgrading, all of my trial credits (59 + 10) were immediately removed from my account before I had the chance to use any… Read more
of them. And that was DAY 1 of using ClassPass.
There was no clear warning that upgrading would automatically clear my remaining trial credits. From a user perspective, this feels misleading and a hidden T&Cs that pushes trial users into becoming paid members without being able to use the credits they were given.
Could you please review my account activity and either restore the unused trial credits or provide an explanation and a fair resolution?

Class Pass continue to auto charge when your account is paused and then refuse to refund, suggesting you keep paying or cancel your membership and lose existing credits. Their customer service is just a chatbot which makes its very difficult to resolve anything
They are scam artists ! Signed up for free trial , canceled via phone and they charged me a whole year, did not take one class, was in Brazil the whole time . When I finally canceled via text I lost all the credits I had . Not worth it
I am very disappointed by this provider. I loved utilising their application when travelling interstate for work. However, I will never use them again after paying for a trial to utilise on an interstate work trip that was cancelled due to a natural disaster in my area. Class Pass has no means to support a natural disaster in their model. There… Read more
was no alternative solutions provided to me to utilise the credits I had bought, despite my own proposal for multiple alternatives, i.e. extending the credit window so I can utilise them in my next work trip, unlocking a restricted provider in my area so I could utilise the credits at home (there are no providers in my area but one, which is locked after one visit to book under the paid trial), even the request for a refund was denied!
The screenshot says it all. The policy is inflexible to natural disasters. To me, that is incomprehensible in this day and age and I would advise not to choose this platform.

Worst customer service in history – Don't bother, the most horrendous customer service I have ever experienced. They way the membership is set up is very scammy! I have been trying to speak to customer service via the app for 5 hours already today and still no response.
DO NOT USE THEIR APP/SERVICE – The worst customer experience ever. They don't care about the members, they only care about $$. They cancelled the class 10 minutes before the class starts, which I was already standing at the door. Gave me $5 compensation for wasting 1 hour of my time, and 13km travel. While they always charge me for $15 cancellation fee if I don't give 12 hour notice... does this sound fair to you???

I wanted to love ClassPass, but there are some transparency issues that made it hard to commit. You can't see how many credits you'll get until you enter payment info, which feels a bit backward. During the free trial, I found I couldn't book many… Read more
of the classes I was interested in despite having credits, which was disappointing.
My main concern is the value. At $89/month for ~35 credits, with most classes costing 8-12 credits each, you're essentially paying $89 for 4-8 gym visits. For my area, that's significantly more expensive than a standard gym membership or class packages directly from studios.
ClassPass has a great concept and nice variety, but the pricing just didn't work out for my budget. Worth running the numbers for your own city and workout frequency before committing!
Follow-up · Trial period was not long enough and I lost all the credits I didn’t use.
Positive reviews
I tried classpass off a Trial. The signup experience was simple and the amount of vendors they worked with in my area was quite impressive. I used it for quite a few months before eventually cancelling due to changing my workout routine.
Honestly couldn’t be happier with ClassPass. Admittedly I haven’t needed to downgrade to cancel (so I haven’t experienced the customer service yet). I was referred by my daughter and nearly didn’t purchase due to the bad reviews but I absolutely love flitting around like a butterfly and it is amazing value if you work it smartly and plan ahead.
Good app – in general i think it's a good app, saved me a lot $ to purchase a pass in different gyms. I can go different places. Recommend check your remaining credits all the time and make sure not too much credit left by the end of each payment cycle. To start the membership, I won't recommend purhcase too much credits, I choose the min credits, if I'm out credits, I can alway purchase extra before I make bookings.
Negative reviews
Avoid. Basically a scam. Trial is a dodgy set up. You get locked into a sub without even realising it. I've since heard the same thing from a couple of other people.
Worst app out there. Signed up for a trial and trial service was rejected as I had used it before in another country. Fair enough, but they continued to charge for the monthly membership which I was not using or aware of. Misunderstandings happen but I've been trying to reach out to them for months and no response via their automated AI bots.… Read more
Finally got through to a human 13 days ago and was hopeful I'd get a response as they replied to me the next day, but then after I gave them all the information and screenshots of the 4 months worth of bank charges they have ignored me. I've followed up multiple times since and still no response. I'm trying to cancel the account but unable to myself as I no longer have access to the account and they're not willing to help but happy to continue taking payment for something I'm not using.
I thought I'd cancelled before the trial finished but was charged for 5 consecutive months. With no invoice sent or notification. Sneaky and misleading. I will try to be reimbursed. There is no easy way to cancel in app.

Really nasty customer service. Will take money, block you from using your account, takes forever to speak to a human and then, when you finally do get a response (by email) not refund you when you request a refund and cancellation. 0 should be an option.
Such a terrible app. I’ve had so many issues with it. The latest being I was unable to book any classes during the holiday break because class pass weren’t allocated enough spots. So I had to pause my membership for a month. My cycle is on the 18th of a month and I paused on the 28th. When it resumed on the 29th it wanted to charge me, instead of… Read more
charging me on the 18th again. So I basically would lose 21 days! So ridiculous. Never using them again.
I was charged for an account I did not approve . I submitted a response to ClassPass yesterday, to which they provided an automated reply directing me to the contact area of the site. I followed their request - it is a dead end. Problem not resolved and refund for an account that I did not approve has been impossible to reverse
was great until they shut the account mid month without notice and did not refund the remaining credits. 40+ minute wait for customer support, then further wait, then they disconnect. just awful.
Haven't even used it and they already told me I cant join Worst customer service service No free passes like it said Its a scam Tried to log in but says I'm not eligible Asked why but they wont give an answer
They have the worst customer service on the planet. I have contacted them so many times about charges coming out of my account after i cancelled. The amounts coming out are not even the same price as the subscription i was paying. They keep saying the charges dont exist!
Be very careful. I was offered $5 for 14 days. I then signed up and they took the $5. I tried to book a class and it wouldn't let me as it said I had a trial before. So why offer me $5 for 14 days when I visit the page? The AI is the worst customer experience I have had. It didn't send me to a human despite asking repeatedly. I'm now in a position where they took my money and I can't book a class. Avoid ClassPass.
If I give them no stars I would. Terrible program, terrible app. Ripps you off and makes it hard to cancel. Expensive prices, you may as well pay at the venue for the majority of purchases. They must love Netanyahu, and enjoy the same demographic traits. Stay away. Maybe try and find a more honest company.
Cancelled a few days into my 30-day trial period. Confirmation message says "you can use unused credit until the end of your trial period", but instead all credits were automatically removed. What makes matters worse, you can't remove your own credit card details, you have to go through customer service AND you have to wait 14 days from cancelling to do so. AVOID!!!!
Do NOT use ClassPass! They scammed me out of $5 for a re-activation trial. I was given 32 credits and I couldn't book any classes without getting an error message. Their "AI Bot" chat system kept going around in circles (hallucinations?) and telling me that I was on a trial and couldn't book classes (huh?). Really bizarre AI responses. When I ask… Read more
to speak to a "human" in the chat bot. It quickly adds a 'fake human' with instantaneous responses that are multiple paragraphs long! (no human can type that fast!!)
The $5 re-activation trial was a fraud. The customer service is a fraud.
I encourage everyone to dispute the $5 charge with your local bank so ClassPass can be reverse charged!
I’ve had a very poor experience with ClassPass. Several gyms told me they stopped working with ClassPass a long time ago and said they had already emailed ClassPass multiple times to be removed, yet they still show up in the app. This is misleading and creates a bad experience for users. On top of that, sometimes I was charged when the gym didn’t… Read more
actually accept ClassPass, and other times I wasn’t because the gym treat me as a first-time customer, not as ClassPass. I feel like only using it to check the schedule.
Worst customer service. I've contacted them about 15 times regarding a booking issue and each time they said someone will contact me and even escalated to a manager but no one ever does! And every time I need to go through the Chat bot to start again on the same issue. It's been 2 months now!=- still nothing resolved or any service
These people are criminals and this company needs to be stopped. I had cancelled my subscription and they continued to take money for months Do not be fooled by these people.
Beware!! I signed up at a busy time for me and either forgot or wasn’t informed I had to cancel after free trial or they would charge me monthly. So I haven’t used any credits but paid Classpass 12months of fees. Yes, I should check my bank statement but if a business is taking money from you they should inform you via email/sms etc, that they are doing so. Very scammy feel to this business.
They designed it so there's always leftover points but not enough to use so you will waste the points unless you top up to spend more. Dont waste your money. i did the free trial and they charge me without warning me and everything went to waste
Beware- They will charge you $59+ a month without authorisation and the points expire!! When contacting them they just keep repeating the same phrase and are not helpful! It’s a good idea that could be GREAT… but execution is poor.
I’ve been a loyal ClassPass user for over a year and have always recommended it to my friends — until now. Recently, I experienced a personal loss and was in no mental state to use my credits. I reached out for a simple request: to extend or roll over the credits I had already paid for. What followed was an extremely frustrating back-and-forth… Read more
with both a chatbot and a live agent who kept sending robotic, scripted responses without acknowledging the personal and emotional context I had shared.
Despite explaining that I had to cancel temporarily for financial reasons but intended to return soon, I was told that the only way to save my credits was to reactivate my membership immediately — clearly disregarding the compassionate support a long-time customer might reasonably expect.
I felt unheard, dismissed, and like my loyalty meant nothing. The lack of flexibility and humanity in their policy and customer service left me incredibly disappointed.
I’ve now decided to leave ClassPass and take my business elsewhere. Companies need to remember that customers are people, not just numbers on a spreadsheet.
ClassPass, do better.
As a business owner i used class pass to fill my spots that dont fill in classes. The idea was great. I charge $20 a class and was getting in return $3 They have no customer service to help ive been waiting weeks for a response. Do not reccomend.
Booooooooo, don't do it. Not worth the money and very little support when you try to find solutions :(( Feels like they just wanted my money, I can't access previous credits or even change my subscription tier unless it renews on the current one which I can't justify the cost of after not having found enough reasons to maintain that tier.
A total scam. Do not use this app! There’s no option to cancel your membership within the app to strategically make you think you’re not on a paid membership. Then they will charge you secretly without notifying you until it’s too late for a refund.
