Do not buy you tow mirrors from any place but Clearview this is the support you dream of in real life.

During the installation of towing mirrors there where some camera orientation issues encountered by the installers at ARB. AJ from Clearview collaborated with ARB to quickly set things right. Great friendly service from Clearview.

One of my powerfold mirrors ceased to fold and I had to fold it manually. I contacted Clearview and they asked me to send the mirror to them for repair. When they asked for proof of purchase I told them I did not have the original receipt and as the mirrors were 7 years old they would not be covered by warranty. To my surprise when they returned the mirror they had provided me with a new mirror under warranty. Show details

Bought the chrome next gen towing mirrors for my ranger, was supplied 1 black and 1 chrome, month later still waiting for a new chrome cover, no customer service

Absolute trash. When it rains they don’t open or close anymore. After a few days it works again. But now even without rain they just stopped working. For the price this is unacceptable.

Poor quality – The mirrors were very stiff and required a Olympic weight lifter to extend and retract them. Also most annoying is that the continually misalign themselves regardless of when they are extended or retracted. Ordered the wrong mirrors, when I tried to fit them it was my obvious mistake. They took back the old ones, I ordered new ones and they arrived within 4 days. Every interaction with them was EXCELLENT. Show details

We had our original mirrors on our Y62 replaced with clear view as part of a GVM upgrade and we could not be happier. The product is great and the service from the team in VIC is outstanding. We called into their repair shop while travelling when we had a minor issue with one of the mirrors and they managed to squeeze us in straight away and got it fixed on the spot. Clearview after sale service – Shortly after purchasing my next gen mirrors they developed an annoying rattle and vibration. I returned to the dealer I purchased them from and they agreed there was a problem. When they contacted clearview warranty team they were told clearview would need a video to support our claim. clearview questioned the quality of the video saying the rattle and vibration was within their standards. I spoke to the warranty manager who agreed to inspect the mirrors. A few weeks later the mirrors were returned having been repaired but the vibration and rattle was the same. The dealer took mirrors back refunding my money and will take up the issue with clearview. In 45 years of motoring I have not experienced any after sale service as bad. I couldn't recommend clearview to anyone looking for towing mirrors.

Compact clearview mirrors – I just brought and had compact clearview mirrors fitted to my BT50. They are set to low, you can only see half the passengers mirror from the driver's side as the other half is lower than the window.

High Quality product – Purchased for my 300 Series Sahara for towing, and swapped out the upper mirror for the convex as I prefer a wider field of view. Installed them myself and the instructions were perfectly detailed and thorough with clear pictures of each and every step. I would highly recommend them whether towing or not. Show details

Corrosion issues and difficulty extending – I bought a used but well maintained car (2.5 years old ) with Clearview towing mirrors already fitted. Though obviously quite new both mirrors are showing oxidation of the paint, especially around the base plate. This seems to be a common problem. Also, I cannot get the mirrors to fully extend out. and help I wasn’t impressed with the response. Basically, was told to take the mirrors off the car and return them to Melbourne for inspection and any costs would be at my expense. I didn’t think that was a viable solution cos I am not confident in removing the mirrors and would then have a car without any mirrors. I was also concerned about the unknown cost of such an exercise, as no estimate was given as to what I would be up for to repair. I suggest caution with this product unless you live in Melbourne. But really, do you want to be arguing with the manufacturer?.…..I am just going to look for an alternative solution for towing mirrors.

Good experience with warranty – I have been loving the Clearview tow mirrors on the Ranger. One failed recently though and I was worried after reading some of the reviews. It seems they have made positive changes. Got some advice about resetting the power fold function that didn't quite work. After a couple of videos sent over emails, had a full replacement delivered and they organise pick up of the defective mirror. Very happy! Show details

Warranty Claim – Fitted new Clearview mirrors October 23 and have had early signs of corrosion on arm near door. Company I bought them from has folded rang Clearview warranty department and after filling out required claim new mirrors arrived at my home and they paid for refit at another dealer. Terrible customer service – Terrible customer service experience. Brand new Next Gen Clearview towing mirrors purchased and when attempting to adjust the lower mirror section manually (as not electronic) the mirror cracked. According to the 4x4 dealership they are not adjustable, Clear view customer service has not bothered to respond.

Good but needs improvement – I had my mirrors fitted by Clearview, to my Ford Everest. Given the price of installation I felt it was worth it for any possible warranty issues. the mirror bodies are excellent and although I was concerned about making the blind-spot even bigger, which it does but not by much, and there's no significant vibration. is great, really clear and I can set it so I can see everything. The left-hand (passenger side) mirror is the opposite. At first I thought, it needed a bit of getting used to, having spent all these years with a convex mirror on the left, but I still can't get it correct. the large flat mirror is all but useless and the very small convex mirror cannot cover the left lane. If Clearview came up with a replacement mirror I purchase them and swap them out. then 'd give them 5 stars

Great mirrors for Towing a Van – I had them fitted to my Nissan Navara, towing a fifth wheeler. No problem with adjusting the main mirror, although the bottom mirror had to be adjusted by hand. No problems with the mirrors in the 5 years I had them. Show details

warranty claims – I purchased a set of compact mirrors from a local retailer on 31/8/22. Three weeks ago i applied for a warrant claim. After three calls to my retailer,i have been told they miss placed my claim,and they are very busy and they might be able to responed next week. It appears, after sales servive or warranty is not important to clearview. In the mean time my mirror will not extend on slide in as they should

Clearview mirrors, puddle lights – Installed some next gen clearview mirrors on ford ranger 2014 having a problem with the puddle lights they stay on for at least 5 minutes after interior lights go out plus stay on while driving. Anyone had this problem

RAM Next Gen Towing Mirrors. Retail direct $1680 + $45 post. Hate them with a passion – Left mirror you can't see nothing out of it. The flat glass is hopeless & near to the point of being dangerous. photos & send it in, the right hand mirror snapped the top bolt off without hardly any pressure, only was using a short racket ¼ socket set with a 10mm socket It was the whole attitude that got me cheesed that he didn't give a rats, as if I was an idiot that had no idea of what I was doing. Was told tgat what they can tell with a photo & to the normal person can't see, that they can see in a photo I suggested that in my opinion they need to have more lighting of a Clear & Amber as per the Factory Mirrors , I was told then they WOULD NOT be compliant Come on CLEARVIEW you have the right idea but it appears that your staff could be your downfall after sales service should be #1, especially in such a small tight niche market
