Overcharged for a service – I was being charged $379 plus $112 for Solenide valve replacement in my Bonair evaporative air conditioning ( about 10 minutes work ). Now I checked and noticed that Solenide Valve purchase cost is around $35-40( not $112) .Also initial date for service being cancelled due to bad weather and it took 2 weeks later until someone came. lesson, next time just ask a private guy to do the service which would be much cheaper and perhaps same day service.

Great result – Took a while to fix the issues we had with heating with add on refrigerated cooling. However, if it hadn’t been for climate tech, technicians we would be without heating and cooling. The team spent long hours and much research to ensure the system works. They were extremely supportive and responsive. Great works everyone

The remote for evaporative coolers are faulty. They have no stock to replace, but keep producing them, even though faulty. Bad service, came as soon as he knew I went out to “fix” it. Said was a new remote but I marked the old remote so knew it wasn’t a new one. Do not use company

Warranty worth nothing and you'll be kept waiting 18 months for dodgey job – Terrible. After waiting 18 months for a faulty unit to be replaced and now middle of summer and been left the job half done and no other forms of cooling. An absolute disgrace of a company. and installed the unit, which now sits 1.5cm off the wall with a massive gap. Off to vcat now as advised by the ACCC for warranty breaches and bad workmanship.

argued with the woman on the call that the weather was perfect for the work but she told me that the technician had ‘been in our area this morning and it was raining’ which is again absolute lies. Why on earth would a technician be in Manor Lakes, then drive all the way to Sunshine for another job, just to have to come back to Manor Lakes again?? That’s not the way these guys work. Just lie after lie. I can always accept that work can’t be done due to bad weather but I will not accept lies just because they can’t be bothered doing the work. I would never again consider installing a product from this supplier as the after service for broken equipment just doesn’t exist.

Top service company – Came on time did the work required and checked the system out. Great communications to keep me informed.added some commentary on the heating system in regards to ventilation. And improved the wifi connection to the unit.

noted requirement for online service request? Completed 24 Jan. Auto response ref submission of the web online application. Nil contact, still. House accepted 14/06/2019 with (understood to be) 5 yr warranty. The annoyance primarily being auto response sent and nil follow-up by ClimTech/Bonaire? Suggestion, if you're looking to buy/install white goods, e.g. aircon, check the company responsible for the warranty coverage. A very....dissatisfied customer.

Lack of warranty after sales service – Installed new Bonaire VSM65 evap cooler in October 2022. Main bearing in motor lasted 6 weeks. Contacted Bonaire via their website and received no reply. Installer came back and replaced the bearing for us. Another 6 weeks has passed and this bearing has now seized as well so no air con in a week of 37 degree temps. Still waiting to hear back from Bonaire. Buyer beware...

Failure to answer phone – Rang Climate Technologies re a warranty issue. Spent 30 minutes on the phone without getting through to any one. Atrocious service. This company does not deserve to be in business.

Did the job, but took a while to get through – It took me 2 weeks to get through a customer representative to explain the problem and another 2 weeks for someone to come for an inspection only to identify a part replacement which took another 3 weeks to deliver and install. Overall fixed the issue, but strongly recommend to improve customer responsiveness.

Warranty work I had to keep chasing up then escalate. No A/C all summer – Evap Unit was faulty and within warranty period. After many phone calls and escalation to management, unit was fixed nearly 3 months later. Excuse was not enough technicians. I had to keep chasing up. They hardly provided updates on the job. Once I showed my frustrations and requested escalation to management, things moved quicker.

Hot summer without the AC – When it comes to repair expect a long wait. It took 6 weeks to repair the evap in the middle of hot summer! We woke up tired each morning with lack of sleep. Not good enough!

High service levels – Great end to end communication. On time. Very professional & experienced. Great value, only $220 for an evaporate cooler service. Seamless process. I don’t normally give reviews, however in this instance, it’s well deserved. Highly recommend.

Air conditioning – They arrived within the time they specified to me. Hopefully the problem with the air conditioning is now fixed. It was just a shame they couldn't come earlier to help fix it as my mum struggled through some hot days.

Outstanding customer service – I had a fault with my Bonaire aircon which required a new diode. It was covered under warranty. Climate Technologies were absolutely fantastic from start to finish with their communication, punctuality and feedback. Can’t fault them at all. A/C is fixed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Climate Technologies and Bonaire to my family and friends.

So far so good – It took a long time but now appears to be working okay. Bledding the AC occurs several times a day . The unit never work okay until now let’s hope this is correct.

Air-con warranty – Service people turned up on time were friendly and did the job with little impact on me. I left them there when I went off to work as they only required outside access. Happy with the work done.

Very good and very prompt service – Climate technologies provided very prompt warranty service for my Bonaire evaporative cooler replacing failed parts and performed the maintenance on the cooler. Very courteous and efficient. Would recommend to others.

is rubbish as if the person knocked on my door, my cat would have run and hidden as she is like a doorbell and hates strangers. I waited at home all day with my daughter(had to take time off today as work is would have needed me today as we are short staffed due to Covid), got no phone call to say when the serviceman would come, have all my voice messages from Bonaire and text messages too. So it nice you guys are calling me a liar basically and won't refund my money.

Spoke to the Manager from Bonaire after finally being put through(he said serviceman drives a V8, placed ladder at front and would have definitely have knocked on door. And he said unless I removed my social media post(it was removed probably from Bonaire I don't know as I didn't make reviews which was rude or anything), and got told by your Manager that my money wouldn't get refunded. The Manager basically threatened me to remove post or no refund. I said I would take it further(further for me is a Google Review and to not recommend your company to anyone I know). So if you are on a budget people can just take your money without providing a service. Well that is great customer service you guys provide, stuff the money and keep it Bonaire.

Why do you take the money before you actually do the job??? So now $349 is down the drain. Most tradespeople do not charge for a service unless it is actually done. Why should I book for a third time for someone to come, surely you would have more than one serviceman. Customers have other things to do than to reschedule again and again.

You have lost a future customer.

showed I called to be told it needs rescheduling which I did. Next appointment no show no call from technician. Several calls being told they were coming. At 2pm a call got a response they would call technician and call me back which they never did A 330 call got cut off after 20 mins waiting on hold A call to head office got thrown on hold for another 40 mins

Finally 3 days later they agreed to a refund Now it’s another week no refund

This company’s got the customer relations skills of a rabid dog and the communication skills of a deaf and dumb goldfish

quote for repairs – Rang company for a heater repair on the 12 April and had to pay an up front fee of $349 dollars for a service call , 16th April called again and told that there was a technical era and job was not booked . They then told me to contact the repairer myself and i did and i could not get him to look at the heater till the 20th April. To add insult to injury could not get my money refunded until 10 business days, would i call them again NEVER

to receive it (no... it's not in JUNK ) 2. Their discounted price is substantially higher than the local competitor (Middletons) 3. I would be stuck in a permanent cycle of $300 service calls.

The local company quoted immediately , arrived on time , installed in 1 hour and have better service options.

Maybe $299 was a small price to pay to rid myself of such a poor company.

Worst repair service – Waited 5 weeks for evaporating cooler to get fixed. After it get fixed and rained after 3 weeks than I noticed rain water leaking inside the house from roof. When checked there technician didn't put back roof tiles. Such an inexperienced technician they have.

Terrible company with the worst service – Worst service ever since we moved in October in a brand new house and paid a fortune to have ducted refrigeration and it’s now the 3rd time we have issues with the system. Today was my appointment and I just got a call that it’s cancelled as there is no technician. I took an annual leave for that. So unprofessional. This is not gonna stop here as I’ll contact some legal advisers You should be ashamed for such a big company to offer the worst service

Stay Clear – Do not reply to calls/message. Never buy a Bonaire or work with this company as they are dishonest and blatant liars. Cannot get support if faulty product and horrible team member who do not respect their customers.

Terrible service – I had my bonaire services a few yrs ago...paid serviced by rude irish guy..he left a n d air con stopped..he came back after numerous calls said its the control pad but stuck it down with tape..charged $1200.and said pad would be anot h er $500 2 weeks later...air con has never wked properly since...

Worst customer service – Shocking customer service and quality of services provided. Waited nearly an hour to speak with someone, still unable to get my $150 rebate claim. Was very efficient taking payment but did not disclose any important terms and conditions.

Absolutely hopeless ! – Really wish I’d looked at the other reviews. Without heating for 3 weeks now . Monty Python type scenario involving trying to find a fan part that seems to either not exist or disappeared on route to the technician. The whole experience has been an education in incompetence

technicians being unavailable. 5. On the day of revised booking, technician did not attend and no phone calls received. 6. I contacted Climate Technologies on the following day who could not explain this and they indicated another technician could come in about 10 days time! 7. A revised appointment has now been texted to me for 7AM tomorrow. 8. No opportunity to change time or date as phone calls are typically 20-30 minutes on hold and often disconnect when they are answered. 9. After about 4PM, phone calls are met with leave a message but no one has yet called me back. 10. At 4:30, phone message advises we are now closed. 11. Waiting to see if and when the technician arrives tomorrow. 12. Update - technician did not arrive but no message from him and Climate Technology could not explain why. 13. Have now asked for a refund and waiting for a decision. 14. 10 days later, I am still waiting for confirmation of the refund.

they sent a second "technician" to investigate the problem again. The conclusion: 1 dead internal fan motor. To resolve the problem they quote me $3000! After seeking a second opinion from a more professional, knowledgeable company, www.arcomservices.com.au, they measure the content of gas (a standard check) and concluded the problem was caused by insufficient gas at a cost of $700 to fix. 2 weeks on and our AC is working perfectly! Do not use Climat, they are a joke, I wish I had read their reviews before contracting them to begin with.

with in 24 hours and send you SMS to book a service call for you after 4 days saying if you want to change time and date pls call them and this time they will attend your call shortly. Their rep behaves rudely and try to get rid of you quickly and cut the phone line. It doesn't matter if your system is totally stopped, its urgent and your routine life is out of gear. They book your appointment when their technicians work in your area it can be 4, 5 or 7 days or more as they don't have technicians on standby for urgent calls. 5 star Bonaire (manufactured by Climate) gas heater and Evaporative cooling system installed less than two years old still under warranty. First Cooling system started giving problem and now gas heater. Not a good quality as they claim. They won't agree about the fault until your system stops working. Many of their technicians are not competent enough to find the fault. I had four and the 5th one diagnosed the problem in the cooling system. now let's see what happens with the heating system. Not a good experience. Not recommended.
