Cole & Mason Bobbi Gift Set

Terrible out of the box – I bought this set for the adjustable grinding settings and they don't work. The pepper grinder just grinds super fine with barely anything coming out and the top knob that adjusts the grinding just comes undone after a time and falls off into whatever you are preparing. Even though I bought these on sale I still wasted my money. They are going in the bin.

So angry and sad I didn't read these reviews first! – I've owned this set for 4 months and both have stopped working. The pepper grinder is only grinding extremely fine pepper and is not really dispensing any pepper and the salt mill is the opposite in that it's not grinding at all and spitting out whole chunks of salt. I've never owned Cole & Mason before and will certainly never buy them again. My last pepper mill lasted 5 years and only cost $10. This set is a $85 set and is completely useless!!!

thread stripped after twelve months – Poor grinding adjustment...thread inside the top knob is stripped. we bought them from Harris Scarf in Hervey Bay Queensland. I will take it back to them and see what can be done about them.

Poor quality – The screw that holds the top of the pepper grinder on stripped the thread and would not stay on, so the top constantly fell off. Lasted only a couple of months even though they were at a mid range price point. They looked nice though.. While they lasted. The thread of the top screw also affected the grinding settings so it would only grind at a coarse setting. Nice look Broke easily

Not a long life product – Very disappointing product this turned out to be as I considered the brand to be reputable, particularly at the price of $50. From the look of them, I thought they may last for ten years. How wrong I was. Not worth more than $ 20. Would not trust this brand to buy anything they make again either. The look of them. Absolute rubbish. Metal around the top cracked right through on both the grinders after a year. The grinder on the salt is made of plastic and the grinder on the pepper is metal. Why are they different? We have had them for three years and for the last year they have not worked properly. Huge clumps of salt and pepper come out of the grind with other various sizes. Basically grind no longer works. We have just bought five dollar glass grinders with salt and pepper already in them to replace them and they grind like a boss!
