There were 4 tiny chicken pieces in the Coles Kitchen Chicken Korma meal. Hardly enough for a child's meal, let alone an adult. The packaging is blatantly misleading. It should be sold as a sauce, not a meal, in my view.
Dry and tough meat – The meat was dry and very tough so I just ate the mash and nicely flavoured gravy. Will never buy again. Show details
Stop being so tight with what goes in these meals – I had the beer Massaman curry this evening, no taste of curry what so ever, and I can’t believe that there was hardly any beef in it, what a absolute disgrace, Coles you should be ashamed of yourselves at the small amount of beef and the no taste of curry . I’m going to tell everyone not to buy this product. Lift your game Coles! Show details
Old Recipe was better – I have always enjoyed the Braised Beef and Mash, but warning bells started to sound when I saw the little logo on the package....."New Recipe". It may be related to the batch (as there can be variations in taste) but I found this version did not have the same strong flavour of the original recipe. The new shrink wrap packaging means the Mash… Read more
potato is now like a pancake. Not nice at all. Sadly, I won't be getting another of these which is a shame as it was one of my favourites. It is also sad that when large companies create a great product which actually tastes great and is popular, they cannot help themselves, but they have to find a way of maximising profit by cutting costs at the expense of the quality that people bought them for in the first place.
Old recipe much better – They have a new recipe, the old recipe was better. The meat is now tough and the mash tastes like deb. It used to be my favourite but I don't think I will get it again now Show details

Braised beef & mash. No beef in it – Braised beef & mash. Sadly no meat to be found in these.Very disappointing. If your lucky you might get 2 small bits of beef. Show details
Pretty decent – It's a nice hady dish (probably not enough for a tradie) but decent for an office meal. Tastes as good as you expect from a fridge meal, great but not amazing. $8 is a bit much. Show details
This is perfect! Loved everything about it – Absolutely loved this meal. My mum is a great cook and this is an amazing replica of one of her home cooked classics. I'm gunna try the whole range of course! Show details
Butter Chicken Meal – The butter chicken meal was quite tasty not alot of chicken but plenty of sauce. There was no rice which would have made a filling meal I didn't realise that until I opened the packet. I probably won't buy it again but if I do make sure I add rice. Show details
Love this!! – The Braised Beef and mash meal was so tasty! big chunks of non fatty meat, nice flavoring to it and the mash is thick and creamy too. Also heated really nicely. I was actually taken by surprise how nice this is. I highly recommend this meal. Show details

No flavour very bland – The butter chicken meal was tasteless. It definitely needed seasoning as well. Disappointed with this product. Should go back to the testing kitchen. It didn’t have that richness of the sauce of butter chicken. Show details
Love this Coles Kitchen Ready Meal ! – I was sceptical about paying $7.50 for this Coles Kitchen Ready Meal but I am glad I did and would certainly buy again. It is delicious and the mash is actually creamy real mash ! There are BIG chunks of tender beef too. This product is located in the fruit and vegetable section at the supermarket.
