Coles Simply Sausage Mince

I normally purchase most of my food from Coles. This week I purchased 2x500grms of Coles Simply Sausage Meat to make sausage rolls which the whole family likes. Upon opening the meat it smelt like chicken and upon reading the ingredients it had 15% chicken in the sausage meat. I can honestly say for sausage meat to smell like chicken there must have been more than 15%. My partner was of the opinion by the time we added onion carrot cheese garlic bacon etc in the meat it would be ok. Well after cooking the sausage rolls they smelt of chicken and taste had not disappeared and everyone complained. The next day I thought I would heat up the left over sausage rolls and they had a stronger odour and terrible taste resulting them to thrown in the bin. Personally I have never heard of sausage meat having chicken, but on the other hand my grandfather always called sausages MYSTERIES. We will not be buying this product again.
