We have a secure complex with gates and all. Wooden outer fences. My property backs onto an area with trees and people use it for a short cut to the shops. Within 2 months of install, the fence was kicked in 3 times. It literally pops out rendering the security useless. No point having gates If the panels can be pushed in. It works well for neighbour fences and street frontage as gives privacy, but no good at all for security. Show details

Buy Chinese – On the 16/5/21 I had a Bluescope Steel Colorbond fence installed on my property. And like 95% of colorbond fences the metal sheeting is in contact with the ground. There are many colorbond fences around my property that are also in contact with the ground. Most have been in place many years. But my colorbond fence has the coating blistering up… Read more

and flaking off already only after a few short months. (See attached pictures) I contacted Bluescope to request a representative to come and look at my defective Colorbond panels , they never replied to me. In my opinion Bluescope steel has changed colorbond in some way ( Possibly to make it cheaper to make) My fencing contractor was told by Bluescope that it is his fault for installing the sheets touching the ground, but as I said there are many fence around my property that touch the ground and exhibit no blistering or flaking.

In short DO NOT BUY BLUESCOPE STEEL COLORBOND SHEETS. In my opinion THEY ARE SUBSTANDARD IN QUALITY!!!! You might as well save some money and BUY CHINESE.
