Companion Rechargable Camp Shower Questions & Answers
VerifiedUnit gets hot but no hot water coming thru any ideas
That's unfortunate, Lincoln. Must be something wrong with the pump. I have no possible solutions. If it's still under warranty I'd take it back.
Has anyone had any issues with this working? I charged it and went camping but it didn't work at all. Got home plugged it in again (light blue) unplugged it and it worked fine. Fully charged it again to go camping (light blue) went to test it at home and won't turn on, plugged it in and turned it on and it works but obviously can't use it as I can't submerge it plugged in.. I've had it working once. Love the idea and it was great when on, but can't work out why can't get it to work now..
mmm. Sounds like you might have a dud. I seem to get two years life out of my battery showers. But look...I bought a brand new battery-powered lawnmower and one of its batteries simply didn't fire which is to say the things aren't perfect whether for portable showers or lawnmowers.
I spoke with a friend he said he thinks battery isn't holding charge, as you said, I got a dud. I returned it yesterday and requested replacement, turns out they had none of my model left and now only stock the latest version, which I got (includes spray nozzle and more powerful battery though is otherwise the same) and it was on special so they gave me $10 back.. Yay! Apparently lithium (maybe all batteries) batteries degrade just sitting on shelves even if new as this was previous model perhaps it was actually pretty old. Anyway I'm hoping I have no issues with this one, am yet to try it... Fingers crossed :-)
