Aldi's confidence toilet paper feels thinner and less soft. I still have a roll of the older toilet paper and in comparison, the new toilet rolls are closer to sand paper! Bad move Aldi Show details

I used to always buy this toilet paper from Aldi as it was good value for nice thick rolls. The latest batch, however, feels like sandpaper. I now have to switch brands to something softer.

I used to buy this in preference to anything else. Good sized rolls and reasonably priced but I'm sure they've changed something. The latest batch I bought feels like sandpaper. I don't want to buy it again. Show details

It makes me itch – It must contain some chemical that my skin can't tolerate. This is the first time that a toilet paper has irritated my skin. My wife is using it because it doesn't irritate her skin.

A nice change – Yesterday I purchased a box of tissue from ALDIs. I’ve never seen them in the store before. They are in an extra large blue box, brand-name Confidence. These tissues run rings around every tissue that I’ve bought in 50 years. They are more than twice the length of a normal tissue and they are a lot thicker and of course a lot cheaper. All the… Read more

other well-known brands, the tissues have gotten smaller and more thinner over the years, so small and thin that you need to pull several out of the box at one time. Now my only hope is that this isn’t a one off thing with Aldi’s and they will permanently stock these tissues. I’m not talking about toilet tissues/toilet paper as some people call them, I’m talking about the tissues that you blow your nose on. lol.

Excellent Quality & Value – Excellent quality and best value 3 ply toilet paper on the market. Double length rolls save on cardboard wastage and changing toilet rolls more frequently. 8 pack is just right size - not too big or small. Show details

Best value around Sydney – This is the best quality and value I can find around Sydney. 3 Ply is thick enough, 380 sheets makes the roll last and the price is good compared to Woolies, Coles

Excellent product at great price – Endorse above reviewer's comments. Soft, thick, comfortable feel paper, so fewer sheets are necessary. Only downside is that some rolls are so well glued it can be difficult to find exact end for all layers.

3 ply Double Length (380 sheet) Toilet paper – I am not sure if 380 sheets is enough to be a double length toilet roll, but there is enough extra on the roll to make a difference for the person who is always the one that goes to the cupboard and gets the new roll. 3 ply is good (4 ply would be overkill). The paper feels like good quality and definitely a welcome change after any visit to a public loo. I will keep buying it.
