Problems with old stock – Another tradie and I had problems with old stock. The white backing couldn't be removed. It was like working with chewing gum. Had to take it back to the hardware shop for a refund. Show details

No Issues getting backing tape off – I opened the packet at bunnings and tested I could get the backing paper off, and there were no issues. I have just applied it to some gutter joins, I will post back the results in a 1 weeks or so. Show details

Butte flashing tape all sizes – Used to seal tin roof joins, used flashing tin roof to building where nothing else would fit work, used to attach sarking to tin roof when nil else worked. Very sticky, if you have done contact can use this, no problem removing backing tape once a corner lifted even in awkward narrow unusual shapes- have used 150 metres in all widths, cuts easily… Read more

, shapes to awkward surfaces, malleable. Showed my builder how to use it now he’s bought some. Only difficulty is no more on shelf!

Useless product! – I just tried to use it and like others could not get the backing tape off. Total waste of time. I hope my local hardware will give me a refund.

Doesn't work – I bought two rolls to weatherproof my shed. Both rolls are unusable because the backing tape is permanently bonded and won't come off. This product probably needs and expiry date. Do not buy if you can't inspect it first. Show details

Absolutely terrible – Absolutely ridiculous this product should not be on the market. Simply can’t take the layer from the tape. At all most $50 it’s just a joke. I will be returning it to Bunnings.

Useful in some situations – Used successfully for small roof gutter repair. BUT on another application it failed .. the adhesive (fixed to porcelain in a cold setting) ended up in s glib on the floor. No reply from their customer service which was disappointing also! Show details

Can’t get backing off – The backing wouldn’t come off it was a big sticky mess so have no idea about it’s sealing properties. The back was completely fused to the flashing. Taking back Bunnings

very poor primitive product – Found that the tape would not properly stay on the new roof panels. cleaned roof with thinners, made it sort of ok. few months later I checked ,its not sealing well. get left over roll from storage, its dried out and come loose from backing tape. paid enough for it, expexted better then a tube of silastic type performance. dont waste your $ get Sika ,should be called sticka works so much better. Show details

Absolute Rubbish – Purchased a roll of this to stop a tiny non pressurized leak in a plastic pipe. Doesn’t set and becomes a sticky mess that had no discernible effect on the minor leak. Trying to get rid of the residual permanently sticky substance is almost impossible and made replacing this stuff with something that works so much harder. Close to the worst product I have purchased at Bunnings
