Cancelled my subscription with them 17/7/2020 and I'm still receiving emails threatening they will take legal action. Firstly received them from Jane Carter and now from a juana carter. Should I be taking them to ACCC? As they have now gone beyond the boundary of harrassment or should I report them to the police.

Yes I can confirm that in Australia copyright is free in 1969? legislation. I have found that no Website that takes fees for protection of copy right has Authority to do so. I registered a small E book and got threatened with legal action after missing the renewal date every year. Keep far away from here people !! Uncontactable !!

Sam site as I had a year contract in 2019 and sent emails, tried phone calls which are never answered, looked up address which was an abandoned building and still being threatened with legal repercussions if I do not continue to payment to this day. heard from them again today as I had had not heard anything in two years ignore their emails and received another threat today.

Beware of this scam – This is a scam site. There is no Australian copyright register and they keep asking for annual renewal with threats of legal action. I now have daily emails to this effect from them, There are a number of web messages from others who have the same experience.

Scammers. Can't cancel a contract or stop them from autorenewing and spamming you with payment demands – Signed up years ago, and cancelled in 2020, again in 2021 and have sent numerous responses to the renewal and payment demands for the years in between. About to put their email to spam as they just won't stop.

This is a scam! – I wish I had seen this earlier, I have paid to register a children's book on behalf of a group of writers with a disability. Only to find no link to complete registration and no way to contact them, as they have a voice recorded message, that state that their message bank is full and will not be receiving messages.

every time I try and call there number it says they are unavailable and to leave a message but then it says message bank is full which means you can't leave a message, it's just one big scam taking money of people and then threatening legal action each year which needs to be investigated as you don't have any options of contacting them at all

I have also reported them to Scam Watch and advise others to do so as well

Its a SCAM don't buy their services – I originally purchased their services for one year to protect some original content. But later realised once my time expired I did not need their services and stopped paying annual renewal charges. They started email and phone threats if I dont pay get ready for legal action. I ignored them and still to date receive threats I am ignoring all emails and phone msgs and calls.
