Corelle Square

Versatile, sturdy yet light everyday tableware – I've always liked Corelle as they're light and tough. The square design is very versatile and can double as serving plates. However, like Sherri, I have found the are design fading after a little over a year as I use a dishwasher daily. This is a pity as I do like the designs.
Light weight and durable - Perfect dinner set – Been a Corelle fan for decades for their lightweight and durability. They are so easy to hand wash because of the lightness. These are also break & chip resistant, dishwasher/microwave/oven safe. Very practical and last long time. The set I got was Square Pure White and they could suit for either fancy or casual dinner settings.
Good – These are great plates from Corelle. I do not use them to eat, but rather as a serving plate. They are large enough to use to serve at a dinner party. I use these to serve kebabs, or grilled chicken or fish. These plates are very lightweight and easy to clean. I do not know if these are shatterproof, because I know that some of them are and some arent. Overall, these are great plates either to use as regular dinner plates (if you want something a bit bigger) or to serve on. This is a lovely range of products from Corelle. I have got it in my blood because my mother loves these and Corningware products, so naturally I started buying them too. I have a couple of these square dinner plates. They are a bit expensive and a little hard to find. I buy them at the Corningware outlet store which has a great range and when bought on sale, you will use it for a very long time and get a good value on it too.
Good – We have these square shaped dinner sets. When I first got them, I wasn't sure how they would work out but I like them. I love the fact they are tough, but lightweight. So far, I have not broken any yet. I like the rounded square shape of the plates because they can be used as serving plates. The dinner plates also come in two sizes, which is handy. The bowls are good, they are fine for cereal or pasta but if unexpected guests drop in, they don't look out of place as a serving bowl for nuts or dip etc either. The shape, their toughness and the fact they are very light and thin. I don't think they are too bad, price wise but one thing that does annoy me with my current set is the design is washing off in the dishwasher. At frist i thought it was my imagination but as time has gone by, more and more of my mugs have been affected. Some have no design left. I am annoyed at that but don't know where to go for redress as this isn't an aussie company and I don't have the receipt now, after a couple of years.
