I have read the comments, I was disappointed to hear that the mugs are made in china and mark. I've bought the plates and bowls from woolies and k-mart ...very happy with them and wanted to extend my set. Neither of them have cups or mugs or large bowls. sare the mugs made in china and do they mark???

We bought 2 sets from Big W and all the cups started to mark just from stiring with a tea spoon. We have since thrown the cups away and bought new cups of a different brand. All the plates were made in the USA but the cups came from China.
